  5. Craig n had problem with his leaking it ended up the braided line screwed in to far and slightly poking out the other side, making it not tighten flat. Chris just took a file to end of the pipe and screwed it back it after washing the filing out that is.

  14. Well if your on a budget I'd stick to it. Just find some cheap springs there no point in spending money on a budget car just save the money you don't spend and spend it when you can afford to have a car that you want to spend money on. eBay do some cheap springs and they come up on here every now and again, just put a wanted advert up.

All depends what your using the car for IMO coilivers are not the way forward for fast road as the roads are uber shite these days I'm running standard shocks which are the age of the car and are very soft ESP on the rear which is why I'm replacing the rear shocks for upraighted ones with damper adjustment but if I couldn't find any I would have just bought new standards (gas filled kyb) as they will have made a difference to how soft mine have gone, the right spring helps to get progressive coil springs (google) they help with a comfy ride at normal driving but when pushed with sprited driving they stiffen up the more there compressed
  16. Well I had to have a fcd on my hks ecu which makes sence and worked very well as the afr was spot on when rolling roaded at mm rr day last year. Now I'm running blitz access and to me it don't feel as aggressive and fuels more as when I give it full beans from low speeds/revs I get a puff of black smoke which would indicate running rich.

As I said, hks tells tells the ecu it's running less boost even on tick over so you up the fuel preassure to compensate, which will make it an even fuel distribution, greedy jam or any clamp type Fcd will only tell the ecu the boost is less than it is at 0.8bar+ , so If you up the fuel pressure to compensate, below 0.8bar it will be running rich not sure if any of you know what boar wash is but what it means is that excessive fuel will basically wash the oil away from the boar and rings causing excessive ring wear and premature engine wear/failure

    Really depends how good your mapper is I've seen the likes if nick at td with shite results as little as 160 bhp running emanage @ 1 bar or Ricky race tech with super result of 230bhp @ 1.1 bar all standard internals. If you have a read through sparkys build his plans are 1.5-1.7 bar on tdo4 standard internals he'll be making 260bhp and well beyond, but he has a Ricky race setup.
  19. Enzo sells new standard ones even refreshing to new standards will make a difference as after 13-15 years of use they will go soft. But I've googled shocks as I'm after some and there's not many about. Just mananaged to win some rear koni with lowering springs off eBay for £100 and they look brand new on picture but will see when they turn up.

I don't like them as they only modifie the signal at a set boost level .8 I think so on without fpr this car will fuel normal till .8 bar then run lean, but when added to a fpr before .8 bar it will run richer (remember these cars run rich anyway) and after .8 bar will run ok. IMO hks is better as it modified the signal from set go, so the fpr will bring it back on par and you will still have fuel cut if it over boosts
