While on idle the ecu is alway adjusting the timing to keep it smooth. By shorting the pins the ecu statics the timing which enable you to set it correctly. Also engine needs to be at operating temperature (so set it after the fans have kicked in) plus base idle needs to be set.
-
Don't forget to short e1 to te1 in the diagnostics plug when setting the timing dude, glad it's running again.

reserve bottle filling up with antifreeze

X2 if it's excessive but that's what that bottle is there for, it will dump excess water into it when hot and as it cools it will suck it back in. -

Yeh ep82 and ep91 front pipes are the same in fact there the same shape all the way through the only difference is the hangers on the rear are different. It should be angled mate to fit a standard zorst, and were all only human and make mistakes but might be worth apologising to sacha as that looks to me like it's your zorst not the decat, but just make sure first by sourcing another system or front pipe to see if it fits.
-
Yeh jap speed one should fit... Is there not a localish member that might have a standard zorst or aftermarket one you can try? I have a front section here you can try but your like 4hours from me

Ct9s have a really small penny (wastegate flap) and when you try to push to much boost through them they can't flow fast enough causing boost to increase even more. I used to set mine at 10psi and it used to creep to 12. I got a drimel and opened the hole up by a few mm and it didn't creep anymore so set it to 12psi and it stayed there.
-
Tbh dude, your exhaust looks straight where it meets the cat and all the cats/decats I've seen are angled so it could be possible you have a different zorst system (sidewinder/wepr/other none standard fit system) all my zorsts so far (I've had 3 different ones) plus a standard system all bend up as they meet the cat.
-
yes you just have to watch for boost creep to reduce the risk port the waste gate hole
-
Well done guys.
