    Pads

I hated Greenstuff when I tried it, Redstuff is far better. People keep forgetting about EBC Redstuff for some reason - it's between Greenstuff and Yellowstuff!!!
  2. Ridicuously busy is about right! Please drop me another PM if you're still interested, I should be able to match the best price you've found...?
  3. I would suggest DS2500 assuming it's a turbo, we also have a heavy-duty version of the OEM brake disc - drop me a PM if you're interested?
  4. For what it's worth, the discs rotating a bit as shown in the video is totally normal - the bore is a tight fit (0.05 to 0.15mm larger than the hub it's fitting on), but the wheel bolt/stud holes are a clearance specification, normally 13-14mm to clear M12 depending who made the discs.

    Rear Brakes

We're going to be looking into this 100% for sure (especially with our recently increase prototyping/small batch capacity)! The advantanges would be: - Light weight - Cheap / available performance pads - Better cooling for those that need it.....! - Fingers crossed, a more effective handbrake. - No seizing rear caliper!! - Correct front/rear bias even if a larger disc - ...matching the front WMS kits and looking sweet...
  6. I've actually got EG Civic front struts/things in my testbed collection as I had one a few years ago - so it's an easy one to start looking into....but there's no kit ready as yet. Quite a few people have been asking so I'll try to do a kit for it soon!
  7. We don't have a link other than what you can see in my sig, there's no online store at the moment so drop me a PM if you're interested? DS3000 are strictly race use only for what its worth....
  8. £91.34+vat (to fit OEM 254mm front) was the last price we had them at - I'd need to double check that though!
  9. Oops, thought you'd got one of our kits - are you sure HiSpec got the piston size right for the car etc? Was surprised when you said you were having a soft pedal with (what I thought was) one of our kits to be honest... Good luck, hope HiSpec can help you find the problem.
  10. Hi Stefan - was it spongy before fitting the WMS kit? EDIT - Not our brakes, oops!

    brake fluid?

This stuff is good value and easy to find too....
  12. Sounds like a problem with the servo or the vaccum pipe to the servo to me....
  13. This is a really odd one!! A pad breaking off it's backing would suggest massive overheating (ie caliper sticking on - due to sticky sliders, sticky pistons or sticking-pads). But you say it's ok? By the way you should make sure you never get normal mineral oil or grease on brake rubber seals as it can perish them, lubricate the pistons with brake fluid when you put them in the caliper.... MASSIVE wheel bearing failure might do this too in theory, but the wheel would be all over the place so you'd notice. Or crash. Stripped caliper bolt - tightening slightly then slipping "loose" a
  14. The bloke must be mad, surely he would be better breaking it?!
  15. There's nothing to bleed in a servo itself. Have you got the hose back on it? Also most servo vaccume hoses have a one way valve in them that you'll need (if the OEM one had it).
  16. Same thing happens if you pump the pedal a load with the engine off - the pedal goes hard as the vaccum is lost. Start the engine and it puts the vaccum assist back, and the pedal goes soft again!
  17. You shouldn't need to if all you did was take the servo/vaccum hose off then replace it. :-)
  18. Just working through my messages - I have the old info saved away so will let you know the details in the PM.
  19. I've emailed lot of people back, will crack on with the remaining PMs later today (got to go out this afternoon)!
  20. I keep hitting "follow" on this topic but I don't get updates - sorry guys!!!! We have another batch of calipers on the shelf as of last week (and can now take deposits) but we've just got to machine more of the 277/275mm bracket as they sold out There are 295mm brackets on the shelf and if anyone wants to try a 260mm kit (14" wheels) prototype brackets for that can be made very quickly. I'll PM you all individually as well. :-)
  21. They include the rear wheel bearing don't they? This is something have pondered too.
  22. If it was my money I would go for our "110%" discs (thicker casting on the disc but still use the standard calipers etc), and Ferodo DS2500 pads as we get far better feedback on them than on EBC. Horses for courses really, pads are the thing people agree about the least!
  23. Make 100% sure no air is getting back into the nipples on the "upstroke", put some clear plastic hose over the end of the nipple if you haven't already done that? Do you mean that with your foot on the (soft) pedal it sinks slowly to the floor....feeling a bit like a shock with no spring or a gas strut that's run out of gas?
  24. Sorry guys, I've been working like mad to get the last of the kits out the door - I have to put those people first before looking into anything new. I'm hoping to get them shipped tomorrow but it's going to be a very late night packing and booking the courier etc so I can get back to them with tracking numbers. Just quickly though........as for the Wilwood replacement rotors/discs I can't do anything without the old parts to measure etc - without them I'm stuck.
