  1. Yeah, if you've got a bent sandwich plate it'll push against the flywheel hence making the engine hard to turn over! Hopefully that'll solve your problem!
  2. Flywheel rubbing against pressure plate? Only other thing i can think of
  3. I had this on the forged engine, turned out the oil pump and pistons where fucked. You replaced the oil pump? Not exactly sure what was causing it though
  4. Had the same problem on mine! Sandwich plate rubbing against the flywheel!
  5. Never go on someones word, i've learnt this the hard way! Remove the spark plugs and sump and have a good look at the internals before you purchase!
  6. Just make sure you have oil pressure by cranking over with EFI Fuse removed and king lead out. Should get oil pressure straight away and then fire her up
  7. All electrics are more a less plug and play. Its very simple to remove a starlet engine.
  8. Engine is hopefully going back in this weekend. Then just need to get myself a TD04 and have her mapped. Should be ready
  9. Yes bud! Went out and bought this needed a run around while the glanza is off the road! Audi A4 V6 quattro! Not bad for £1000!

  13. If the timing is out, is it just a case of rotating the camshaft sprocket (4E mark to hole) and Crank to mark on oil pump?
  14. I just took a timing belt of a 4efte and the timing seems to be miles off! If i just follow the below guide before fitting the new belt that should be ok? http://mearcatmini.blogspot.co.uk/2010/07/4e-timing-belt-change.html
