Thats not a problem mate, I’ll give you a tip too knock the out from the block side and in from the top, also leave the new gides in the freezer over night before fitting them!

I’ve used both at work helicoils and the threaded inserts. Depends what we have on the shelf at the time, never had any problems with either really but the thread insert is definitely the favourite
Helicoil or a threaded insert type repair would hold I recon, I did a bus engine last week with one and there torqued down 30nm, 90°+ 90° + 60° on m12 bolts so I’m pretty sure they will hold if done properly
They are completely different, the sump is a different shape on all 3 engines, the gt been the biggest sump of them all, the glanza is closer to the n/a but its not the same. Its better to fit the pick up to go with the sump you use
The sportif I had had both sides missing from the tank to the rear valance, they'd completely rotted off! My SR is fine there tho but I have done a small repair on a cill and the back corner on the N/s
