  1. Wheels need balanced or replaced if they are buckled, tyres could also have a flat spot or a bulge in the side wall. You wont see a buckle until they are on the balancer before you assume they arent buckled because you cant see any. Had this with my car sounded like something was thumping the bulkhead it was just because a wheel was soo badly buckled. New set of wheels it was like a new car.
  2. You dont need to do it all online, its not a waste of time at all I had my best quotes from there a couple of years.
  3. Everyone should change their provider every single year or at least shop about. Its liek anything new customers get the best deals they hope people will just be lazy or forget and just let it roll over so get on compare the market and get a fresh quote also ring up the specialist providers and check with them too.
  4. Takes alot to get carbon monoxide poisoning mate you would need to pass out with the fumes before that happened. That said I will guarantee your issue is the missing grommet if you removed your AC.
  5. Just do what I said then. Run it under the engine and as long as you clear the bulkhead the wind will take it out the back. Will only be an issue when sitting in traffic that way.
  6. It your exhaust mate your completely entitled to do with it what you wish. Personally I just see it as a waste its like making and SR into a Glanza rep just buy a glanza. The whole point of a hi power silent is the quietness taking that away defeats the whole purpose of the exhaust.
  7. Nothing lasts forever but it makes more sense to get an exhaust that serves his purposes than butchering a good exhaust that might serve someone elses.
  8. On a serious note since youve struggled for one of those. If the end of your screamer sits at the bottom of your gearbox like Zisco ones then there should be a small tip that can be unbolted. Make sure nothing is in the way and have a slightly longer piece welded on. All you have to achieve is to get it underneath the car beyond the bulkhead the wind will do the rest. You just might get some coming in your window when you sit in traffic. I have mine routed back into my de-cat.
  9. I know do that and kill another HKS silent great idea.
  10. These arent the right ones for his bumper judging by his pics he has 96 spec bumper. You can get the covers brand new from toyota for about 4 quid I bought a set 4 or 5 years ago. Maybe cost you a 10r now.
  11. A good detailer offering advice is something this forum has been missing. Welcome mate.
  12. Id be willing to swap a Blitz nurspec r only issue would be with the distance.
  13. Yeah should have mentioned the snap on ones are the only ones worth buying....handheld wise. You can get good ones for vices, but its not worth it unless you will be doing alot of brakepipes, plus the handheld ones are good for when working with the pipes on the car. Allows you to get the lengths much more accurate.
  14. Get a length of copper brake pipe a flaring tool and some brake pipe ends. Its easy as piss doing them. Most of your time is spent just getting all the bends and such correct. And no they dont go all the way to the master cylinder there is a splitter on the bulkhead.
  15. Depends on experience I suppose. Maybe it is better to take it out if your unsure.
  16. Thats a cracking gasket set. Just used it myself
  17. You can do it all without removing the rad. You shouldnt have removed it to do the decat. Take off the 6 mani bolts, then unbolt the decat from the exhaust then a few more little brackets and connections and the whole turbo kit will lift out, doesnt take long at all. As for your autobox it will have a bleeding system in place just top up the fluid.
  18. THIS If you are determined to use a cast mani, then search the globe for a JAM one.
  19. Im sure I had this issue of trying to contact them in the past. Also heard sort of mixed reviews.
  20. I've seen alot of people making diy manifolds these days. Has no one branched off and tried something a bit different like a k03s or a k04? Just out of interest as they are probably cheap and as common as dirt.
  21. Clearly my reply said, whether you need it or not a baffled is a good thing to have especially on a track. If you like I will explain to you what a baffled sump does but I'm assuming you already know that since google is only a click away and you BUILD RACE CARS FOR A LIVING. Its insurance your car should always be kept with a constant oil feed, on your theory whats the point in wearing seatbelts since no one intends to crash. In any case keep your fucking cheek to yourself you little mug.
  22. Whether you need it or not a baffled sump is a good thing to have regardless of tyres....lmao.
  23. Agreed. Saying all ss manis are pants is absolute garbage lol. Exactly what i was thinking. If you want to be literal all manis will break at some point its just a case of do they outlive their usefullness.
