  1. Ai its 1bar all day long, or maybe you will get 12 months out of it at 1.1-1.2 bar, then eventually a ringland will go
  2. Wow first Vtec in a Starlet i have seen lol, not sure i like it!
  3. Hey thanks for taking the time to read/watch it, I just stripped it apart this weekend, had some problems with a juddering brake pedal and an oil leak from my sump, chuffed its just the seal on the sump so nothing to hard to fix I will get my mate to do some drive by recordings
  4. It drives really well actually, bit of a monster in a straight line lol but otherwise she handles quite well with the coilovers on it, I did the whole conversion in about 2 months, but most of that was doing research on how to get the electrics hooked up with the cars original loom. Bit of a headache but got there in the end Ah yes you can defo hear the chatter! Sounds sweet and goes like hell, engine is running lovely too, somthing to be said about building somthing with your own hands and then actually driving it I doubt i will sell it for a while to be honest, its been a labour of love and its still not finished Next summer I plan to get it ready to use on track which i was hoping to get done for this year but had a couple of problems which held me back 4 months!
  5. the standard engines can handle up to about a maximum of 16psi, but for reliability don't go above 14.5psi, just keep an eye on it thats all
  6. liger dave ha ha, ra ra ra ra raaa!!!
  7. Cracking work and welcome to the EP70 club Good to see someone taking a different approch to my ep70 conversion, i like it
  8. Drank way to much booze and not enough picture taking, has anyone got any snaps of the ep70 sleeper, want to bless my work computer with some starlet godness!
  9. May have had a shandy or two at that point! Engine is running sweet, on my final oil change now
  10. Good effort Davey it looks much better
  11. someone buy it and bring it over to the UK for christ sake!
  12. On my god if only i had £2500 spare, i would bloody buy this just because A. its pure win and B; the only way the price is going on this is up in the future as they are so bloody rare!! Bargain!!!! http://cars.donedeal...le/cars/3696421

  15. Loved every minute of it, good to meet everyone!! Especially a certain Grant passed clean out outside my tent lol!
  16. Here you go dude, have a read, it lists the total build process http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=52242&st=0#entry673189 Yes its also expensive to go the forged 5e route, what caught me out what the cost of all the machine work, prices are listed including upgrading the clutch cost me just over 3k! Expensive but worth it I will be at JAE so you can take a look
  17. Hmm i just had a cracking idea, shame i didnt think of it earlier, I have got a full portable beer system with cooler like exactly the same they have in the pubs, draft beer on tap!!, you can buy the barrels of beer which have about 88 pints in, amazing for parties, works out about a pound a pint and more importantly it comes out ice cold from the tap! Basically one on of these! http://www.kegworks.com/beverage-air-bm-23-keg-refrigerator-stainless-steel-418-p16393 Dammit, if i had more time i could have organised it for the main tent!
  18. Just been prepping my camping shizzle, got a gas powered fridge so cold beers all weekend, get in! Took it to Glasto last time and it was a god send!
  19. The steering rack wont make a difference as thats not where the torque force is originating from, if you have got an helical diff such as a quaiffe i find that this drastically reduced torque steer while on throttle. Have you got an LSD diff?
  20. 440-460cc injectors, I believe Denso ones are the plug and play type for the starlet and they sell them through tuningdevelopments
  21. your best bet is to register on one of the scoobie forums, loads of them on there
  22. so true, its awash with modded GT's!
  23. With a knackered HG i would say £1500 is on the steep side as your buying an engine with potentially a can of worms of problems, i bought a GT as my first starlet with a HG failure thinking it was a cheap fix, paid to get it repaired then it blew a piston a month later!! I reckon £1250 is about right so gives you some spending money for any other hidden gems!
