Cheers Phil, was mainly just teething problems, but all sorted now - nice and simple fixes. First oil changed planned for tonight up around the 200 mile mark. I'm really looking forward to the weekend and will get the ITB's on.

Picked up some gear linkages on Saturday morning, seen some awesome KP60s and headed back to fit them. Gear linkages fitting in around 30mins and we were good to go... But I had left my keys in a mates car on Friday, so I had to wait until he came back from work. Went out for a quick run on Saturday afternoon, was going ok for about 10mins then BAM fuel leak. Fuel leak sorted the was out driving last night and my speedo stopped working 'Evening officer, is there a problem?' 'Any idea how fast you where going there?' 'I haven't a fucking clue!' Long story short I got left off with a warning and the speedo is now fixed. Did some motorway miles today, around 150 miles or so and the car never missed a beat, so happy it is running well now. The mission this week is put as many miles on as possible and get a few oil changes done. I have ordered up some tasty replacement panels to sort my many dents and should have them by the weekend. If all goes well this week ITB's should be fitted permanently too. Unfortunately I don't any photos as my phone decided to stop working so I lost everything.

Went to go for the 1st drive tonight and had no gears, turns out the main gear linkage cable has snapped (the one which attache to the bottom of the stick). Can seem to find any Starlets breaking at the moment in Northern Ireland, what other linkages with fit, Carina, Corolla etc?

Socks has a set on the way over from Japan, check here or here -
Give them a call and request a Data Subject Access Request, Vodaphone will need to send you all the information which they hold about you. If they are unable to do that, the are in breach of the Data Protect Act and I am sure that their fine will be of greater value than the money which you 'owe'.

Had this problem last night, checked all of the vac lines etc, no joy. I then adjusted the distributor and that solved the issue. -

Thanks guys, I really need to get the photos uploaded. I've a few small things to sort out tonight, shouldn't take too long. Can't wait to put some miles on her and get the ITB's on! I'm so glad that she is put back in and running sweet, fingers crossed there will be no issues this time.

SHE LIVES! Fuel leak though, will be sorted tomorrow then some time for run in miles.

Cheers guys! Thanks dude, won't be running the throttle bodies until this weekend or next, I'm going to play it safe while running the engine in. I'm eager to know as well. I plan on getting it mapped within the next month or so, power figues to come shortly. Do it lol!
