It could just make the repair more costly driving like it. If the crank pulleys loose it will fuck the end of the crank up. Then you need to sort out a new crank and what not.
It's made a good difference. Front end feels loads better in the corners now. Just need to get some coilovers on before fest It's doesn't do boost by gear or rpm. Just a basic boost controller. It's tiny! I call it cute lol only has 2 wires to solder in
You sure it's not the water pump making the noise? That would cause a noise. If the crank pulley is wabling around it could be the rubber breaking up. They don't tend to make a rattle tho. You can check the crank pulley buy putting a line of tipex down the pully and then drive it for a bit. See if the tipex marks line up after. But I would start off by taking the aux belt off and feeling the pulleys by hand
If you want to run sequential you need an ecu that can run sequential and a cam sensor as well as a crank sensor. Semi sequential just needs a crack sensor.
I keep changing stuff lol so it takes longer but I'm in no rush to get it done and cut corners. If I had lots of money to play with it would be done ages ago. But I'm just pottering along getting bits done In between other jobs. But I must admit I've not touched the car in about 3 months lol
It's sat in the corner waiting for more love. Got lots on the go! Engines still needs to come apart for upgrades. Steering rack needs to come out for my manual rack. Need to finish the paint, waiting for nice weather
I use a plastic shield that sat next to the small rads you find on the 1e engine starlets. I just cut it in half an slid it in between the grill and filter and cable tied it to the slam panel. You can just any thing really. Bit of under tray or cut the corner off an old bumper any thing really
