I've used 16v 4age uprated ones fine. Or I've used bga one from a local motor factor. Cost £8 for the set and worked same as the uprated 4age ones lol
Look at honda crm250's, I've got a mk3 import and it does me so well. The bikes are getting old now but they are so fucking reliable. Can't beat ringing a 2-stroke down a track
Time it up with the 4e marks. Only about half a tooth between the 2 marks. But you need to time the engine to tdc. The remove the cam pully and refit on 4e marks.
Careful preparation to the area and you won't get a single bit of swarf in the engine. Taking the head of sounds a bit extream just to sort one bolt out.
Uk paseo definatly has drums. Discs and calipers off GT or v with bolt straight on. You need the caliper hanger as well. Hand brake cable might be an issue as the beams longer on the paseo from memory

Would fefinatly make life easy other wise you would have to plan your jobs and support the engine and stuff. But all can be done leaving the engine in without too much trouble
