I might leave it un painted and polish it up. See how it goes. All I've got to do is run the wire from the arming switch back to the ecu for launch and flat shit. Wrap the loom up inside the car. Put seats in. Test fuel system for leaks. Fit turbo when it's back from Owen developments. Weld the centre exhaust to down pipe. Put rear callipers back on. Give my wheels to my mate to get painted and tyres fitted. And then a bit of road mapping up to my work for the mot

Cheers guys. Was working last nights again. Got the tank things brackets tacked on and the hoses cut to length. Just need to take it back off and finish it off. Will probably paint it black as well

Get a timing light in it. Could be the fuel pressure not set right. If he was running a lover base fuel pressure it would cause it to over fuel. Just opening the throttle while cranking should make it at least try to fire

I believe the n/a engine uses a different idle valve. The ones I've seen have an electronic valve on the bottom of the tb where the thermostat valve is on the GT and V tb. I would start by in hooking the throttle cable and making sure that slides in and out nice a freely. If that's ok I would move onto the getting the throttle body off and cleaning that out with carb cleaner

Looking smart. Got a nice selection of parts. Get that engine bolted in now to fit them all -
Was a tittle tricky. Done most of it just using the button on the touch. But the other night I decided to have a play with the foot pedal. Still havnt got the settings spot on but finding it alot nicer to weld with the pedal

Going to need new rails made up that fits or a steped mounting bracket that brings the rail back in line to sort this mess out for people who have purchased the rails. Or a refund and go else where
-
The injectors have got to sit perfect. I've seen injectors pop out of stock rails at 2 bar + of boost
-
Totally fine, you won't have a problem

Your best off saying you have a 92 engine fitted. It's a bit of a grey spot on the amature built side of thing. No one really knows much about it at my work as you hardly have to use that bit.

It's does doesn't it. If every things goes to plans there is a very good chance I will be there.

When I got my dials from TMD I had a choise of about 3 speed dials I used the 180mph also hand a 110mph and a 180kph

Just a case of undoing the tensioner nut if the spring is on and doing it back up. Best to take the cover off if your unsure rather than going throw the service hole. Or get someone else to chech the tension

Alot of hard work and effort gone into this. Looking really smart. What the deal with the clips on the rocker breathers. They not push fit? -
Bet some one done the cam belt too tight. that will make it whine / hum
-
There are 2 types of original rail spacers I've seen. All plastic ones and alloy/ plastic ones. I have both sets at home. Ill have a look at them later

There is a guy in Winchester that with a dyno. He's not a fan of emb/u's tho

It gets a bit more complicated with the cat as that's on the emissions side of thing. If your car passes the emissions without a cat whitch can be done. But they then can fail it for not having a cat fitted. Cars after 1992 need to have a cat. But then if you look at the bottom right paragraph. Could say your cars amature built modifyed and have a non cat test. They say there is no grey areas in the MOT. I say there is loads
