  1. Yeah its fine. You'll need to swap a few things. Do a search its been covered plenty of times.
  2. Just ordered some Bilt Hamber goodies to tread the rust I got. Should be with me by the end of the week then I'll get started on patching that up. Spraying and undersealing behind the rear bumper.
  3. You'll be ok to run the stock ct9 at 1 bar with those mods, should net you around 185-200bhp, maybe even more depending on the engine health. You can choose to run a hybrid ct9 if you wish, most of these run upto around 1.2-1.3 bar.
  4. You might be ok if you change the resistor. Although finding out what resistance it should be is going to be tricky lol.
  5. As above, its just a sticker which comes with gear knobs.
  6. Take your time, do plenty of prep. The key to a good finish is good prep. Check here for the paint code http://www.ukstarletowners.com/page/articles.html/_/exterior/jdm-factory-colour-guide-r18
  7. You coming over to the Man side? Very clean car mate, only have to take a troll through your build thread. GLWS
  8. Sweet nice one pal. Can't wait to see what more you can pull out of this
  9. When the page loaded, my first reaction was... Jaws has made its way into the car scene.
  10. Looking good Jay! Is that the race spec inlet?
  11. Argh yes forgot about that issue, think you might be right there mate. I think I'll remove the plate just to check and make sure, then I'll weld in another nice new bit of material.
  12. Whats the engine spec mate? Leads you can go for OEM, Magneocre are a popular choice, Ultra leads are another option although slightly more expensive.
  13. Did some more work on this today. I pulled the front carpet up the other day and gave it a good clean, but now I'm debating about even putting it back in, looks quality fully stripped When I removed the carpet I found this plate that had been tack welded to the slope on the way to the bulkhead on the drivers side. I've looked through some pics of other peoples stripped cars and haven't seen this before so this definitely OEM. Kinda got me thinking whys it there in the first palce though, I would associate with this part of the car getting rusty, although I did find some water sitti
  14. Am sure you have to use the Auto TB assembly, it's the same size as the others any how, 50mm.
  15. Do you not have the throttle body mate? Thought you needed to use both the TPS and Auto TB for use with management?
  16. Agree, maybe do Top TD, top Race tech, Top home built/tuned, Top private tuned. Something along those lines.

    Pcv valve

Providing its not spitting oil out then I can't see it being a problem.
  18. Track rods, CV joint. Does it knock whilst turning when the car is rolling?
  19. Well done Mike. Did you get any footage?
  20. Yeah I heard of that, apparently its very similar to jenolite, apparently its more of a rust pervention rather than a treatment though. Ah cool! My dads used it before but only on stuff with surface rust so it's probably not so bad, just don't know how it will fair up with this kinda rust. I've messaged the guys at Bilt hamber just to get their advice, hopefully here something back tomorrow. I've got a few of their products lined up and they aren't badly priced tbh. Gota do a proper job, don't wanna be doing the same thing again in 6 weeks time lol. Cracking on with the front tomorrow
  21. Let us know how you get on mate, I think you'll find it hard to get it that low though.
  22. Is it external wastegate? Or still running actuator? If its external you'll have to get a 0.5 bar spring, then if you set the controller to off this will be your boost pressure. Then just use the EBC to raise it upto 1.2 bar (although you will need the ecu re-mapped). If running an actuator, you'll just have to to adjust it to reduce the boost down to 0.5 bar, then use the EBC to raise like with an external gate.
  23. Intrigued as to what gearbox it has? Looks clean glws
  24. If you want to run an EBC, you just plumb it into the wastegate. Although you can't go any lower than wastegate spring pressure. If you run 0.3 bar the car will run rich, if you want to run 1.1 bar it will run lean, although if its been mapped properly it should be setup to be slightly rich incase of an overboost situation anyway.
