Screamer sending exhaust fumes into the cabin
richardc9052 replied to dan106's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I think the fumes have turned you into a moody fucker? -
Cover lifting would have no effect
-
Off topic, Rob what CP are you running I its not a secret
-
So the uj bolted straight on and you where able to keep the ep70 column? If so, you just helped me massively lol
-
I'm the same. Trying to find a non PS rack so swap into my 82 as I find the PS way too light and there's very little feedback.. Makes me miss my turbo ep80 lol
-
Non power steering has an extra full turn from lock to lock. Makes steering much easier than a PS rack looped
-
Gentle heat on the Mounting bracket and put the shock strut in a vice. Tap the bracket with a rubber mallet. There are also loads of penetrating fluids that are made to release siezed threading so have a look into those.
-
Unsieze them. Buy new rings and cut the old ones off. The. Get a set of ns2r for 70 a corner.

Yeah I had one in my starlet. Road mapped it myself on 4efe-t so don't have power figures. Even the Det3 piggyback is a semi standalone as is fully takes over fuelling and just piggyback timing. The full standalone EMU is an unbelievable piece of kit though and well worth the extra doh.
-
Yeah but if you can still get a decent pattern and a good enough increase in flow to say, safely run 240/250bhp it would be a decent cheap mod
-
I know about the adjustment but Daniel got me. Just wouldn't have thought there would be much movement in the panhard rod in the first place. I've fitted one purely to center the axle but they come with polybushes so it was worth the ask lol
-
Does the adjustable panhard rod make that much of a difference at tightening the rear end
-
I had one of these. Its in my profile pic lightest of the ep8 series. Not even soundproofing in them. If you need the wiring doing give me a shout, I make them ;)
-
It would be interesting to flow test a set of decapped standard 295cc injectors.
-
Buy 2 part polyurethane and pour them yourself. Make a vac chamber using a plastic box and a hoover
-
Ooh nice. Ill take pic of my dash so lol
-
I saw a white one on facebook in the netherlands, it had the insides of the headlights painted black which really set it off! Will probably do something similar to mine. Ill deffo be bolting a subaru turbo on to it fairly soon after it passes test. Any pics of yours?

Hey, just wondering how many are on here?? I own a 95 Starlet S. One of the latest years seen in one and the first S ive ever seen. Differences to a soliel are turbo spoiler, slightly different front bumper with fogs and 4 wheel ABS even with drums at the rear. (also has RPM in the standard clocks but im not sure if soliel already had this too) I am currently bringing it back to its former glory as it was left unused for a while. So any others on here?
-
Seeing as you can use a gt ecu on a glanza and visa versa if you repin plugs or use a jumper harness this will run both
-
Good because there is a full shell here. I might try some stuff
-
Is the ae82 gt front ARB a direct fit on our starlets?
-
Ive had a RARB on my last starlet so i know the massive difference that makes. Now ive overhauled most of the suspension in my new starlet and have just fitted a black series ALK and a whiteline adjustable panhard rod. Im just wondering if i will notice much of a difference with these fitted compared to standard? I am still using shock/spring setup for now if that changes anything.
-
Oh yes. Sure heres an updated one for the craic
-
That car is twin charged. Has a fairly large Turbo under that supercharger lol.

ITB's simple question (i hope)
richardc9052 replied to Sparkythestarlet's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Yeah! obviously it wouldnt be that light after i added the 4e (compared to the 1e), wiring, fuel pump, fuel lines, turbo etc but still a good start
