you need a non lsd bracket? i have one here i think. you can have if you drive over for it. ill have to check first though -
i couldnt say. i think about 20mm maybe more but thats up to you to decide. i measured the distance from the gear cable ball connector to the tunnel in the floor, then measured the distance between the cradle and the centre console. so you can add both up and take like 5-10mm off the total distance and thats the maximum you can extend it and ad spacers under the cradle without fouling anything
-
I made my own. i shortened the top and changed the angle to suit my driving position and then i just used the piece i removed from the top to extend the bottom. throw some washers under the cradle and its done. Bear in mind that these do take a fair bit of force that you dont notice due to lever effect so make sure any welds on the shifter are solid. i had my first try snap on me. i cleaned it up and re welded it and its fine ever since!

google ep82 et0 15x8 and you will see images of other cars and even a few threads on here.. they will poke quite a bit and you will probably need arches rolling

Couldnt you T off from the Oil pressure sensor?
-
They are standalone for fuelling and piggyback the timing.. It can be used on any setup.
-
This got me thinking. id looked at universal bushings before and they where still expensive. that was a few years ago though. just had another look now and you could probably polybush most of your car for a third of the cost of the kits. I think you can probably get a bushing needed for the coilovers close enough too so you dont need to do all that work
-
Right another thing im wondering, could you press the standard bush from a starlet shock out and back into the polo coils?
-
Could just drill the axle bracket holes to 12mm and use 12mm bolts?
-
Dean what bushings from powerflex did you use?
-
most piggybacks are splice anyway people make jumper harnesses that you can use so you dont damage the loom. Any tuner will be able to map them. they are all similar to one another. i had an emanage, aem fic/6 and a det3. never got to use the aem fic but the software was similar to the other 2 which i mapped myself...
-
Go for an ecumaster DET3. very good ecu, standalone fuelling, piggyback timing. 160 delivered from poland. on ebay. Myself and at least 3 others that i know of run them. mine was on a 4efe turbo, one is on a 4age supercharged, another on a 4efte ep82 and last one is on a DIS 4efe with itb's in a corolla Another lad fitting itbs in his starlet is using one too but im not sure if he got his running yet.

Rotas are shit. These are far from rotas. Proper wheel with decent tyres for good money. -
The one on here is a a fantastic job. This one is just a waste. Would have made more power with less hassle using the standard engine. But, whatever he is into.
-
I had this problem. Remove the master cylinder and hand prime it with fluid. Then refit and try to bleed. If you still have problems theb you might need a new master.
-
So with the td04 300 hybrid you should make a bit more towards that 350 mark
-
Just use a 4efte map sensor. Both work in the 0-5v range. The problem with the 4efe sensor is that your hitting boost which is maxing out the voltage range and the ecu can see something is wrong.. The only way it will do the same when using a turbo map sensor is if you hit 1 bar boost... Which won't be happening. So turbo map sensor and it's fixed. But your then halfing the fuel off boost. Ideally you will need turbo injectors and some way to control fuelling... Realistically it would be better all round just to buy a piggyback ecu and get it mapped.
-
Hybrid td04 would get you up there and still have good spool time. They make 300 on 4e so with a little more boost and a good map I can see it hitting 350 on a 5e. Anyone actually tried that?
