I have one i made myself using a 4age 20v mani and downpipe. worked well! give it a go diy? I paid 20 for the mani and downpipe and cut and welded it to fit a 4e flange, which i cut from a 4e mani. Noticeable power difference but doesnt look pretty lol. If you do want to give it a go drop me a pm i have pics from when i did mine at the start of summer

No need to change the loom.. the best combination for n/a power i found is a turbo loom with an n/a engine. You can just use a uk n/a exhaust with cat and that will pass emissions

Should have rr my setup.. My gen 1 4efe with modded 20v mani and full straight through 2" exhaust running on ep82 ecu with a 4 speed box was ahead of B16's to 60 mph. The 4 speed box is shit after that though so could have done a lot better with a 5 speed

I'll get a pic of the loom I use to show you. It's not messy.. You can remove the parts of the loom your not using.. With the loom I'm using you can run a 4e in any vehicle you want as long as you have a seperate charging system and a way of operating the starter.

Or just use a conversion loom.. Nobody here has used one like this. Of they had they wouldn't be advising to swap the full loom. I can have mine out in 2 mins flat. The only thing that takes time is putting it in, connecting the positive and earth feeds on correctly.

Well I know where there are 2 looms for 150 each that you just connect to an ignition based positive and earth, connect sensors and away you go. I am running thus setup as are 3 of my friends in an E10 corolla ep80 and ep71. Mine is also in am ep80.

Oem lsd here with shafts and rear mount. Not mine but my next door neighbour.. It's out of a glanza.

Or just use a conversion loom and tap into it for rpms ;) that way you don't have to mess about.. You basically end up running 2 and a half looms. The original loom runs the starter, alternator coolant temp gauge and rad fan switch and everything else in the car. Second loom runs injectors and ignition along with all ecu fed sensors. Pm me for more info

It's more awkward to take the gearbox out on its own than to lift the whole lot out so I'm guessing it's the same the other way around

It's easier to leave shafts in and take out box and engine together. Just take the clip off the inner cup joint and unbolt either the ball joint or shocks from the hubs and the shaft and ball bearings should come out of the cups meaning they stay on the car ;)

Best bet is throttle bodies but yes the corolla inlet mani makes a nice difference down low and mid range. Doesn't seem to take away from top end at all. I'm currently running a 4efte inlet and you can tell the difference.. Corolla mani ftw ;)

Which is a load of bollox They made it difficult for people to buy/sell cars. Not everyone has a smartphone or access to Internet to tax it before they drive off..

it's not even that it's the 1986 215mm 4age 16v mr2 clutch

One of the lads is running 220 on the mr2 clutch and used it for 1/4 mile 3 or 4 weekends with no slips so depending on your torque it could hold perfectly. No the standard ones seem to go after about 180.. Don't need a lathe really because your not taking that much off but it would be handy to balance! Also it costs less that 100 lol

Go for a 215mm mr2 clutch if your replacing a standard one. Holds up to 220 (1 bar td04) and fits onto flywheel perfectly. Will need a small grind on pressure plate so it avoids the bellhousing ;)

As above. My buddy is looking for an ep91 p+P Ecu. He would like a mines but not overly pushed. Seals need to be intact and will need sending to ireland
