Ohh in duno !! You talk to some of the idiots that get it to uni... frightening. Best to just try a few things out yourself, really helps if you have a genuine interest there (ie me & cars) also if you can be bothered, do a bit of volunteering somewhere, looks good on a CV

I wanted to go to Uni and be an Automotive engineer, but spent my last 2 years of school getting fucked up and into all sort of bad mischief So yeah didnt quite get the grades, became a Vehicle Tech instead. Work on Hyundai cars all day Could be better but having the time of my life atm. Fuck goin to Uni for 4 years living off out of date loafs of bread and working all hours in some shitty bar just to earn min wage and suck a few knobs for a couple quid tip. (Uni might be totally different but thats how i imagine it so i dont kick myself for trying harder haha)

Best bet for the 5EFHE is the Cynos and Sera (i think). Pretty hard to find, no doubt there will be a couple in Ireland lol. You also get Gen1 5EFEs in some Jap import Cynos, Sera etc which have fairly thick rods but not as thick as FHE, can still put decent boost through them. Most people get a 5E Paseo block & crank and forge it with a 4EFTE head bolted on. Could just run a normal 5E block from a Paseo (Gen2) with FTE head pretty safely aslong as you fire a set of bottom end bearings in it and obviously a new head gasket. The standard comp ratio is 9.6 - 1 on the 5EFE so youd want a t

Just make sure you dont loose any collets lol, pretty fiddly to do, use a small flathead screwdriver with a bit of LM grease to put them back in. Valves can be cleaned well with a rotating buff. And if you are carefull you can put the stem seals back in with simething like a 14mm socket. Also advisable to get the head skimmed and checked by a machine shop

Be best to get a Gen1 5E engine for stronger rods, or a 5EFHE for even stronger rods and high comp pistons.

Yeah many people have done it, get an extra 200cc, quicker turbo spool. The 4E and 5E heads are pretty much the same, the cams and valves are the same, the valve springs in the 5E might be a bit weaker and also the 5EFHE cams have a higher lift and duration i believe.

Ive pressure washed heads before, although i had totally stripped them down (collets, valves, springs, stem seals etc.) Also best to do the stem seals whilst you have a chance, only 30 quid or so. Plus they will do doubt get damaged with any attempt to clean the head.

Yeah same as EP82. Although GT top mounts have an extra threadded lug on the top mount, but they still fit to EP91

The original one they done was a Porsche V8 but the one they have nowadays is a Jaguar V12 i believe. I had a 4EFTE block that i was gonna do one with but it was a bit small haha.
