    There are oil ways in the head aswell. I just said it sounds like a HG failure, not written in stone, however it explains the oil, bang & running like shit straight after due to loss of comp. Or it could be a rod out, but the OP was told by a mechanic that the block was intact.

    Just to pre warn you, this is how the majority of the big builds come about haha, find yourself saying, 'i'll just upgrade this, and may aswell do that too etc.' Before you know it your a couple of K down and still no furter on haha.

    Depends what youre into really ? If i could get about 2 months off work (never ever happening) then i'd go out to Maga / Kavos / Bulgaria and rep for the summer. Been of lads holidays there and loved it. Plus being a rep youd have loads of unprotected drunken sex which is a bonus

    Only Meister do coilovers for us 4paw owners, theyre about 750 or something last time i checked. Normal coilovers do fit, front is fine but the back will be sky high. I have a set of GT 40mm (i think) springs in my 85 shocks, not sure how it sits yet because its still up on axle stands lol. Not expecting it to be low at all though :/

    Yeah it can do, depends how bad it failed, ive seen some cars lose litres from HG failure. But as i said it could be anything really, just guessing here.

    Unless i'm getting mixed up and he ment the other way about lol. Yeah man i'll defo be trying it out in mine when its done Ive only got a crappy HKS rep but it didnt leak in the GT so that was a bonus lol. I do prefer that idea of only dumping at high boost thats why i mentioned it up there ^^^ How do you rate the Sard DV then Toff ?

    My pal ran no DV on his VF28 and then put it back on, he said there was a noticeable difference in spool time, it was better and less lag.
