  1. Best way to do it is an air chisel.. or if not then use a normal hammer and chisel. Then go over it with a good wire brush on a drill to take the glue off.
  2. Its actually prov sold atm sorry if it doesnt go i'll pass on his number
  3. A mate of mine is selling an old skool wepr setup, internal wastegate if thats what your looking for?
  4. Love this build! Looks as though the mods you are doing are really having a proper impact on your lap times aswell
  5. Really does depend how far you wanna go, also bear in mind some mods you do will add a bit of weight, like some of the turbo kits are pretty heavy, cages, loads of braces, things like evo recaros are heavy compared to GT seats. So it really pays to strip a lot of shit out. My 85 sits at 880kg (with 4wd system), so im pretty chuffed with that for now.
  6. 2.5" will flow enough, also if youre ewg then theres that extra 38mm of exhaust gasses coming out the screamer too
  7. Yeah man, pretty sure you can get a LSD for the AE86 axle which has a similar front ratio, so the VC doesnt shit itself. It would be a custom fuel cell job yeah. Thats the way i was thinking tbh, got an engine and box combo in mind, nice Toyota one Then the rack becomes an issue etc. Aim of the game is dont fuck your 4paw haha...
  8. Weakest part is the halfshafts. My 85 has ABS so maybe a pair of 95 ones would fit?! Who knows. The 4paw prop look fucking solid, ive had 3 subarus and the prop on them all was thinner. Bit of chopping and welding and you could shoehorn a ST205 subframe in..
  9. Its the not the end of the world if the rear end goes. AE86 axle would fit with minor mods. Or go all out and fit a rear subframe with IRS, from a ST205 or something. Thats why i launch mine at 6k side steping the clutch zero fucks given
  10. Good work on the conversion by the way, should be decent if youre using Soliel 100ps ECU and that. Reminds me of Geos old Starlet S a bit
  11. Im gonna buy them all and Glanza rep them hahahahahaha! Jokes obviously id love a tidy SR
  12. My head isnt up my arse you cunt! Thats what you were getting at, saying anyone who isnt running a proper cage is stupid and risking their lives.. that might be the case but theres no need to be a fuckin bellend about it! People know the risks, its a fuckin tin can, crash one badly and its game over anyway.
  13. So in that case AdamB we would need to wear a helmet every time we drive our cars, because we need a proper roll cage with harness bar.. to run a harness with our fixed back bucket seats. This isnt the fuckin FIA mate. Theres doing something by the book and theres being pedantic as fuck.
  14. Can get ABS discs / pads / bearings on ebay for 90quid, cant get a link to work using the app for some reason so screenshot will have to do!
  15. Just need an alarmed pull cord next to it for when the inevitable happens... for when shit comes out
  16. That is very true. Would be good if someone put a good bit of R&D behind it.. Civic harness bar.
  17. Yeah but ive seen the pic of yours with that lot fitted and it looks pretty fuckin sexual!
  18. Which is about as much use as shit flavoured toothpaste! Hardly anyone doing keeps their AC whilst doing a serious build
  19. Would love to see some pics! Glws, that would be a sweet setup!
  20. And not everyone has a cage either. Harnesses bolted to the floor is what the majority do, havent seen anyone fit a harness bar to a starlet yet whithout a cage. But someone might have a pic of one? Still its something thats lacking in the EP world So to any EP Traders reading! .. cheap braces. Can get this lot for a civic for like 100 quid. Obviously people like their cusco, ultra racing or whatever. But chuck the ultra racing catalogue on a starlet and your talking over a grand. So a few cheaper braces would be ideal too
  21. There isnt one. Just put the heaters on full hot. Leave the cap off, let it idle, squeeze the pipes to get air out, increase the revs and hold them at 3k for a bit, let it idle again. Go a drive, let it cool, check level. Do it again if you need to. Should only take 5 mins. Thats the way ive done hundreds of cars with no issues, some people have other ways of bleeding though.
  22. Crying out for a busa engine to be dropped in
  23. Any traders on here fancy making a proper starlet harness bar? Its something we really need.
