  1. All depends on personal preference, you can get 4E engines to 400+ bhp... A 5E will be less laggy. It doesnt cost 'that' much more to build a 5E over a 4E.. 5E block and crank used to go for about 150quid area. People say a 5E wont rev as high as a 4E but pretty sure you can still go to 8.5K+ RPM area i think has been done.. Personally id get a Gen1 5EFHE (fuckin solid rods) out a Sera and just run that turbo'd for a while at low / medium boost on a good ECU and map, it has a higher compression ratio and better cams.   11. Run no DV and be cool as fuck Or yeah other option find a cold side with a T for a DV. Or have someone ally weld in a T to your existing cold side pipe. Or you can get a silicon joiner with a DV T Or if you run a HKS DV you can get the circular flange welded into the cold side.
  12. Jizzmo EBCs are shite mate, that would be the main problem. Nothing wrong with an internal gate on a TD04, they just arent as good at regulating boost as an external wastegste. EWG with a good EBC like an AVCR (set up properly) and you'll have no boosting issues
  13. Says in the ad it had a bump in Japan, whoevers fixed it has done it on the cheap because its got the wrong front bumper and that bonnet is bent.

  17. There were 3 types of tongs iirc, the GT spec one of the one to have, used some of either tf035 or td04 internals. All the info is archived on UKSC if anyone still has access? Or the threads my be buried on here somewhere.

  20. That is true, get ewg blanks on ebay for 10quid, i did this when i had suspected ewg issues, although if your turbo is welded for ewg use then say hello to unlimited boost hahaha
  21. No. You either need ep91 recaro rails to mount the seats. Or chop the ep91 feet of your rails and weld them to the evo rails.
