ICV valve on ebay You can take it off and block the hole, but it might be a bit jerky sometimes on low revs thou. At least mine was when I blocked the valve from inside.

I have also ordered the BT logger. Hopefully will arrive on next week :-)

Same here, but it starts at 3000rpm no matter if you are on boost or vacuum. The sound also stops at 3000 if you are engine braking from the higher revs. I have to make an earthing kit first to make sure it's not interference as it sounds like it. It's also hard to say where it comes and I don't want to rev the car too much on our parking hall where sound echoes quite well. Timing belt kit, water pump and alternator has been changed recently, but I think it's not related to one of those even the sound started appearing lately.

If your idle control valve is broken, you will get a stable high idle between 1000-1200, because the valve is leaking all the time. Unplugging the connector won't help as the copper thing keeps it shut and solenoid opens it when needed.

Nice any info on ep82? Only seven EP8X('89-'95), but I think all of them are N/As. Never seen or heard about the GT in here.

I think it will fit, if you use front-faced water port. No way there's enough room on the back of the turbo.
