I can do it in 20minutes. The most important thing is use gasket sealer. I dont care how many people say use new gaskets or it was ok when I did it. The best advice is buy some gasket seal. Its not a hard job and you cant mess it up so dont have a go at it and most importantly ENJOY IT and be glad its not a honda

an object in motion tends to stay in motion.

Yes chris and Im sure youve noticed that the rolla manifold has 10ps more than the glanza manifold at every rpm until 5500rpm Im measuring these manifolds the minute so hopefully we'll have results by friday. What I need is the VE of the 4efe head -
No not quite jay, its more of a comfort blanket at this stage. I woke up and realised its the only one Ive seen so the odds of a replacement are slim. May as well start looking for one before it breaks. It would be a shame to convert it to manual..

Thanks chris. All the info exists online buts its about time we used it, tested it and got it stickied. I want to find the torque area's of the main 3: Uk fe, rolla fe and fte. Im thinking imagine if shortening the rolla inlet or lengthing the fte made the ultimate inlet. Unless we do the maths we wont know. -
Im starting this thread to help answer some nonturbo questions about the inlet manifold Our 4efe has 4 inlet manifolds available to it and multiple throttlebody sizes as oem. One of which is the glorious ACIS manifold. I have the manifolds here, and Ill do whatever tech needs done or tested and Im hoping to find a few guys on here to help with the formula's. I can do them myself but Id made a mistake I wouldnt spot it nor do I have a pc to present the results in graphs or tables. Heres the basics, http://www.team-integra.net/forum/blogs/michaeldelaney/130-intake-manifold-tech-runner-size

Im after a uk auto gearbox for a starlet. Its a A132L No knocks or rattles please

Start with an oil change and a 4efe corolla tubular inlet manifold
-
Go in stages. 5efe, corolla inlet manifold, 50mm throttlebody. We had 115hp and 130lbft An oil change is the very first thing I suggest to do. Also a paseo gearbox is faster in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and longer topspeeds in 4th 5th. A 4branch exhaust manifold would be a good idea aswell. You can use the jap 5efhe or the easy to find 4afe uk corolla 4_2_1 exhaust manifold. Take the 50mm throttlebody from the same engine. Then get management. Emanage is cheap n handy or even apexi safcII Forget cams and throttlebodies until u have the.other parts.

Most if not all motorbikes use a bit of hose pushed over abit of a manifold. The 1st Northern irish starlet on ITB's used silicone hoses pushed over a cutdown manifold. Always use your orginal tps unless you measured the resistance of the pontentiometer over its range of movement.

125mph all day long. A standard na will make 100 just about, a healthy na will make 110 and a corolla mani'd oil burning beast will make 110. Power-pistonrings-aerodynamics Your struggling with one of these. Change your oil and try again :-)
-
Happy days £10 for a oil filter -30% that only £7 for a topspec sexy ass oilfilter. Cheers man

Finaly track down this beautiful little gif... Up the rolla manifolds!!
-
Standard glanza exhausts are cheap on ebay from some dude in Ireland too
-
NO dont chop it up. Take photo and poke it with a big stick.
-
Bump. Full uk or standard glanza exhaust needed
-
Gt turbo and glanza do not need to be emissions tested as they are a grey import with NO uk equievilent
