  1. Mid to late 90's celicas corollas supras and Im sure a few others. But supra sounds much cooler Mid to late 90's celicas corollas supras and Im sure a few others. But supra sounds much cooler
  2. Surely loft insulation will retain water? I can strip the foam/cloth from a few cars at the breakers and pack it into the bootlid and rear quarter panel space but can any suggest a dynamat style stuff for around the bulkhead and front wings. Where are you guys applying damping to on your cars?
  3. I thibk the bootlid/bootfloor and rear quarters could benefit from a mix of foam and resin type stuff. But what about up front. Should I spend money in the doors, around the steering column, and what about behind the front quarters as I can see bare metal from inside the car. Ive an inital budget of £50 for sound deadening although I can salvage the foam n cloth type sound deadening from the breakers yard. Will waxoyl'n the underside and arches help?
  4. My god we need sound deadening.. I fitted the jvc headunit and speakers and was happy with the.sound whilst parked but the volume I have to to use to overcome roadnoise at 50mph+ is crazy. And on the motorway I just have to switch it off as its a joke. Can you lads suggest a cheap sounddamping ebay special and maybe a few locations around the car that need attention
  5. No immobiliser on any of my sportif's 96-98, only on the SR. Never the less the car will still start as the immob only shuts it off after 3_5 seconds
  6. Is your engine turning over fast enough, are your sparkplugs dry, are you gettin fuel, is it trying to fire or.just turning over. Sportif's didnt usually have immobilisers (or airbags) and itll still start with the.immobiliser but switch off after 3_5seconds. Id say your battery isnt charged enough..
  7. Get a 4efe. Quite a few 4efe's for sale on here
  8. A quick blast of carb cleaner will sort that out. We use heating oil to wash out intercoolers and pipework after turbo failure
  9. Its not worth payin for wheel alignment if you allow your technican tolerances of plus or minus 1degree of toe. Dude yes get your alignment reset when you set the axle because they should align your front two wheels to.run.with.your.back two wheels. £20 for laser alignment where they hang the brackets on the rear wheels too!!
  10. Good man gimme a shout via pm with a price and the year. Are u in or near belfast

  12. Lookin gt seats front and rears. Price must reflect the condition but please bare in mind Im a cheap bastard :-)
  13. Im not incouraging fraud but Ive seen lads with SR's declaring them as just 1.3i to the insurance company and saving quite.abit
  14. Axa. If your only 18 you could opt for that tracking device. You get 20% off your premium
  15. Yes the plug is there, taped to the loom.
  16. Turn your wheels full to the right and youll be able to see it from the passenger side if you kneel down, look for ripped rubber. Also with the bonnet open and you can stand beside the car and get an assistant to let the clutch out just enough to rock the car and yiu may be able to see or hear where the noise is.
  17. Twenty pounds for a haynes manual will make your life so easy. Get the 93-97 corolla one which covers the 4efe engine.
  18. There wouldn't be enough clearance to run the 4efe high dome pistons. With the thinner headgasket youll get plentymore compression. Dont use the 4efte valve springs because u cant raise the rev limit using those conrods. With the uk head and corolla manifold plus whatever 4branch exhaust u decide to use youll see 115bhp and 130mph using the 4efe gearbox.
  19. The normal size is 15x6.5 et38 This is the common alloy wheel size with 195_45_15 or 195_50_15 tyres With other sizes you might need a 'adjustable panhard rod' or carry no fat chicks
  20. Pumps are rebuildable if that helps, two large o rings we done my dads avensis recently and it.was handy enough
  21. You would get seriously pissed off at constantly changing gears.
  22. They share the same partnumbers as far as I can see. How does the key way and base timing mark compare to your standard pulley. Id say u have overlooked something else
