  3. NO NO the gen2 head is different. The intake ports are different so our uk or jdm dont fit. The pistons are different too. I would fit your uk head and use the gen2 metal headgasket cause its the same as the 0.6mm TRD only cheaper. You need to go on tercelreference
  4. Cheap pagid fastroad pads on ebay for around £50. They always survived a good 7hours of very hard road driving when I was doin delivery work. Not much brake fade and miles better than ebc. A light sand every month to keep them on form kept me sweet. I couldntcomment on the other brands but if your shopping for upgraded pads then bigger brakes can be got for under £100 if u ask about

  6. The fronts u just bolt the inner rail in place then pull up the slideforward lever and that lets u position the other rail nicely

  8. Forget the.coilpacks and just run it with your own setup. Where did u get the 5efe because the 5efe with coilpacks as far as I know is the american one with different head and pistons and headgasket etc. would u check the inlet port dimensions as its the quick way of seeing the.difference. If you where to go with coilpacks you might have to change the engine loom or some wiring, I dont think thats worth it for no horsepower gain and you cant play with the timing like u can on the dizzy

    It depends.. On your mods so far and what u want to achieve. Yes there worth it but theres so many things you can or should do first. Whats your spec and whatdo u want from the car, peakhorse power, drag, trackday or rumbly yet drivable saturday nite road warrior lol

  14. SR is already 25_30mm lower than.standard starlets and with old age the springs may well have sagged.alittle lower. Secondhand coilovers can be got for 200quid these days. Id buy them if your a fan of stanced motors. SR springs are hard beat as lowering springs go....
  15. Budget for wheel alignment too. Measure from your wheel centre to your arch, aiming for around 300mm. Remember the rears will be different because the axle.isnt centred until u get a panhard rod

  17. Fyi when fitting the.altenator belt you need to lever the altenator with a 'lever' or 'stick' to have right tension on the belt its near impossible.to do by hand

  20. Thanks lads ICE is something I know nothing about as Im a fastroad driver and never had a interest in bass until my car has started to squeak. Ive tuned everything else and since Ive found bits n pieces such as headunit speakers and various cables I figured its time to get some tunes. Im worling with what I have, simpily to have sound but I want to make to most out of.it by fitting and mounting it as best I can.   24. I wouldnt worry about oil on the sparkplug thread, if plugs show signs of oil in the tips Id been concerned. Valvestem oil seals are the.usual culprit for.oil burning on startup but yours symtoms are more like piston rings or blocked breather pipe
