  1. 50mm 4afe throttlebody, paseo intake sytem, gen1 4_2_1 exhaust manifold and corolla intake manifold. Timing advance 12° Ill do a timed run tomorrow and see if its faster though it does feel happier now a high revs.
  2. You do not neef the steering column, only the brass horn bit 10 probably
  3. The SR has the 3spoke wheel same as a 98 glanza. The airbag is electric. You need the horn/steering coloumn bit from a manual airbag model, 96-98 Its the bit with the brass pin and spring that sticks out to touch the brass ring on the rear of the boss. Put plenty of grease on the pin and rememver to centre the indictor ring (blackyellow thing) before u fit the wheel or the indictors wont turn off when they should
  4. A lightened flywheel will help in the low revs
  5. I found this earlier, my old paseo with rolla manifold and lightweight wheels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McLlqvtg4SA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  6. Your going to have a leak on the cylinder head. The fte has a waterway that the flange covers. The corolla manifold doesnt cover it. I welded abit onto mine and sanded it flat
  7. Just take off the backbox. It will sound shit, really really shit but it will be loud
  8. What condition is the gearbox in. Price for it and all the manual conversion parts. Clutch pedal, servo, cylinder, pipework and gearbox. Maybe a starter and flywheel too. And those door cards if youll take bad money this time ;)
  9. Theres a few floating around on here
  10. Rear top mounts are rubber and can squeek when very wet or broken, springs bootlid spare wheel all squeek aswell. Exhaust hanger squeeks too All parts are cheap so maybe you should visit a mechanic
  11. Have you the rear adjuster cog part of the brakes.
  12. Any chance if a driveby video til we here that exhaust. My mate had a similar setup but with one of those bungs in it
  13. 75w-90 but theres lots and lots of different brands. Ive even seen some reccomend using automatic atf oil. Google it as the opie oils guy has talked about oil types loads
  14. unscrew the oil cap and if the revs change its piston rings. Is there too much oil in the engine?
  15. When the car is warm unscrew your oilcap, if the revs drop away down its piston rings or worn bores. Its probably just valve seals to be honest which arnt a big deal until your using more oil than u can afford. A replacement engine can be git very cheap like £80 cheap. Takeoff your airbox pipe, hold open your throttlebody and using a cloth and your finger give it a clean inside. Start it up and see does it idle any better, if not clean it abit more. Then while its still running unplug the idle valve which is on the bottom of your throttlebody. If it revs up then your idlevalve is clean and wo

  18. Ok so Im converting to manual cause the auto has got as fast as I can get her. Is anyone using a lightened flywheel or experience/advice on maching a flywheel
  19. Im converting to manual and need a sound manual gearbox, prefer Ireland for postage cause Im cheap. Turbo, non turbo paseo cynos or corolla Sadly jay has none :-(
  20. Im confused, is nick22 a liar? If he talked to them on the phone before ordering and the parts where in stock the someone must be wrong. Both people sell parts on the forum so who's lying?
  21. @ chesh that 5e engine is a us engine and does not suit for a 5efe conversion here I never usually post in this section but pure gutted for chris.
