  1. Put a 50mm throttlebody off a 4afe corolla on a tubular manifold. It matches up right and the throttle sensor is a sensor. Our uk gen2 is a more refined version of the gen1. The gen1 92-93 had 88ps with a up n down torque curve and 6500rev limit, the jdm had a higher limit hence 100ps. The gen1 used a 50mm tb and fte type manifold and the 4_2_1 ex manifold. It also had slighty more lift, slighty. The injectors were average squirty things and it had normal fuel pressure. The gen2, our uk engine has 45mm throttlebody, longer AND narrower inlet runners and slightly, slighty less lift on the inl
  2. So much misinformation that its no longer funny.. You need a 50mm throttlebody
  3. Open the ecu, the pinouts are written on the circuitboard. Glanza S ecu does not work on s uk loom easily
  4. Yeah there all two plug but you need the engine loom to run it. Its not hard to get out but you do need the crank angle sensor bit
  5. Just remember to put the serice bolt in the cog on the inlet cam before you take it out. Thats mechanic speak for screw one of those black bolts into the hole on the cog bit or it will spring free and give u knocking noise, again its in the how to on tgtt
  6. Chris can I just say this is the most complete throttlebodies setup I have ever seen for our cars and one of very very few sets to make it past prototype stages. The manifold is properly made, the jointers are sound, the cable setup works, the tps sensor is a bolt on job and the whole setup is a straight forward fitting. Most of all you have video footage of good if not great power/speed gains. Goodluck with the sale lad and at a fair price too. Noel
  7. Theres a how to somewhere where you have to change one resistor to allow the rev counter to work. Do a wee search there or google
  8. Ill find a courier and get back to u via pm mate about the autobox. Also you dont need the head to run that coilpack but you will need the crankangle sensor and other bits down around the oil pump housing area to run it.
  9. I want your gearbox if it doesnt make a funny knocking sound.
  10. Chris I think Ill fit them when the weather drys and I find some good brand cheap 14 tyres. Thanks phil and to all at badgersport inc for the spoiler Ive grown very fond of it
  11. I bought these locally, I may or may not fit them in the spring but there nice to look at for now. 14x6" jdm black racing lightweights with eagle f1 tyres
  12. Its no opinions its looking at the graphs, corolla has the best torque but fte is best above 5500rpm. I had acis on my 5e, I couldnt feel a difference but from graphs I can see it is better. A 4afe throttle on a corolla manifold is the best all round and value for money.
  13. These are for sale, def do not suit my car sadly
  14. You would be better with the 4efte manifold mr motion. The 4efe/5efe manifold has narrow ports where as the corolla and fte have good wide ports. Checkout a few dynographs in the power leader board to compare where manifolds make power
  15. I was thinking that morgey, do u think there a set or two mixed sets? Are they any good or another rota?
  16. Can anyone tell me what these are. There is no brand name on the but two say BR JIL and two say 40 14*6 The fronts are split rims and the rears are like wantabes
  17. Mine was leaking below the rear light where the panel sealer had began to leak, its the silicone stuff thats painted over. A good clean, dry and bury it in silicone. Homebase/B&Q and get the silicone that goes on wet or damp surfaces. Usually its the figure 8 shaped seal around the rear lights has got dried up gunk on it which lets water past. Give that a clean first and reseal. Sit in a stripped out boot and have a mate with a garden hose pour it over the car
  18. Lift up the rear seat and see is it wet underneath. There are two rubber grommets under the seats to the outside of the car. Also check your boot if its wet. Mines been steaming up but ive put that down to the cold cold weather.
  19. You can use a ep82 rear end and handbrake cable too but you need the bracket where the two handbrake cables meet the middle cable at the centre of the car.
  20. Thanks chris and yeah its the us paseo gasket. Billy I was all set for the manual conversion there but I took a lust for a zzfe corolla as Id like a 5door towbar'd airconditioned cruiser this year and the starlet only gets drove to work and back so Id lost the love. My rpm switch arrived last week so Im fitting the acis manifold and may well keep the starlet for another while..
  21. These are the winter wheels dude, 15x7 with dunlop wintersports
