easier to undo the 6 bolts on the head to take manifold of then undo the 3 on the bottom of the cat where it meats the exhaust then 2 thet secure the cat to the cat bracket then the 19mm bango bolt on the oil filter housing so you can take out the complete unit o dont forget the open the oil return rubber pipe there is 1 bolt on the turbo to mani thats a real CUNT to open when in situ its much easier when its on the bench / floor -

the whine comes most from the input shaft bearing closest to the clutch if the dif is moving around alot then bearings /spacers are gone to time to rebuild the box before it seizes / self destructs

soooooo mmmmhhhhhh i updated my thread on toyotaownersclub.irl and got hammered because i welded on the bushes and dipped them in water for a few secs to kill the rubber burn they told me there not roads safe and are going to fail and locking my thread for the rubbish i put up etc etc ( tho there still perfect after 2,5 months of pot hole back roads ) if they where going to fail they would of done the first week of abuse so just for safty to anyone reading dont weld them on or do at own risk and check them often will have to come up with a nylon insert option or poly pus -
