Dean @RW-Developments Posted October 16, 2011 Author Share Posted October 16, 2011 though id throw up some old pics more to come.a few service items from months agothe 3rd one within 2 months lolhad to lower the fuel filter and nut cert the fire wall for the carbing brace to fit like it shouldafter checking the locking collars on my teins i noticed they were cracked and whilst jacking my car down the 1 side completely gave way whichcould have been deadly when driving so decided to take a permanent precaution! so i made and welded up solid bottom collars so the suspension cant just collapse like it did. i decided sod the stupid adjustable collars etc so i welded up 3 different size alloy spacers so i simply just take the springs out and swap the spacer to lower or raise the car.lots more to come ..... still no 5e running comments welcomeDean Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Dean @RW-Developments Posted November 24, 2011 Author Share Posted November 24, 2011 so another update quickly nipped to my unit tonight to find some stupid mice have got inside the car, like a dick i left 3 half drunk 2l fizzy pop bottles in the car so they have chewed lots of tiny holes in the bottles. so when i picked them up pop was sprinkling from all angles lol just hope they haven't chewed anything else? need to take all the interior out now to steam clean it anyways few pics from the buildnew and sprayed bonnet hinge with fresh bolts , also see the damage from when the bonnet flew upfreshly sprayed gearboxstickers looking shabby time for some new onesthis is becoming quite regular for me lolmore pics coming soon including pretty cool update Dean Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Dean @RW-Developments Posted November 28, 2011 Author Share Posted November 28, 2011 update cars not far from being on the road now so need to catch up with putting photo's up so heres a few of the engine in fitted and all freshly painted...athena 1.9mm head gasket to lower the compression unfortunately was wank and caused me to re strip the whole engine again twice so going standard nownow for the good bit i think so personallyive welded a new screamer pipe using 38mm stainless steel tube to come straight out the cruise bonnet also fitted is my custom RW-Developments inlet manifold i built with angled short runners and velocity stacks inside! screamer is now cut down at a crazy angle more pics coming soon!comments welcomeDean Quote Link to post Share on other sites
