is the lack of spoiler not part of that N1400 Class look tho?? or maybe thats just the examples of those motors that I've seen are spoilerless lol.

Phil.

yeah I agree phil, i think the normal bumper and lack of spoiler look really cool and different, adding a spoiler is just adding weight

its so much more lighter and nimble compared to the sr

passed an accord euro R on my track session

dident actualy have the power to pass him but he was holding me up in the corners so he was flagged to let me past, he disapeared in my rear view slowly after that

performance wise im pretty smitten with the car, ive had na ep91s all the time, the performance between the two models of eps is like night and day tbh. The engine felt tight when i first got it, that run back from japfest seams to have opened it up nicely,

not really looking forward to getting rid of the stock exhaust (maybe im getting old)

but next thing on the adjenda is

  • get rid of the ac
  • gut the interior and sound deadening
  • 3kg slim line bike battery
  • fit manifold and exhaust
  • fit strut bars + anti lift kt

once ive rattled through that then il be taking a jaunt up to Chris's in kilmarnock to start work on the emanage install and tune.

awesome project enzo. Ive also been thinking about a bike battery, what sort of requirements will it need to have to start the 4e? as dont want to get something to save weight, and then end up with something that wont start the car every morning

since my last update ive lightened it a bit and added a bit more power,

because its so light the combination of both is quite noticable. really enjoying this as a daily the now.

ive taken out

stripped the interior + removed the spare wheel (30kgs)

removed aircon pump radiator and pipework (25kgs)

removed the rear towing eye.(1kg)

removing this little lot made a noticable difference in how the car pulls to the top end.

100ps equates to 90bhp

ptw pre strip: 115.75 per ton

weight pre strip: 790kgs (book stats)

ptw after strip: 124.58

est weight: 734kgs

added the full fugibutsu exhaust and na mani aswell as decat pipe.

this made a considerable and noticable improvement to performance

i cant stop driving the think in the past two weeks ive been all over the highlands in it with last weekend touring around dumfrees and galloway around the queens way.

getting it dynoed hopefully this week so i can see how much power the mani+decat+exhuast has made, then add to my calculations.

but if im being optemistic and ive added 9bhp

ptw before breating mods: 124.58

ptw after mani+decat+exhuast:137.04

next im gona remove the power stearing pump to shed more weight but leave the rack still in, should be good for another 20kgs there

i wont do this though if it fucks up steering feel,

does anyone know what a pas rack feels like non assisted?

on the to do list,

  • emanage
  • 6 speed
  • uprated powerflex engine bushes
  • underdrive pully
  • anti lift kit
  • and remove the rear wiper + motor

i think the 6 speed + ud pully and emanage map will give me a nice increase in performance.

il update when i have the first graph later this week.
