Glanza Mac
Dyno day at RS Tuning today in LeedsAnd the result..Not happy at all with that, they revved the car to 7.3k rpm when I did say just go for it as I'm not fussed on the end result I.e if the engine went bang but they had to abort due to the engine running to lean although no wideband or any other sensors where used to measure the AFR so I dont know how in hell they know and how the graph can read AFR but I did have a word with one of the guys there and he did say I would of made 180 + so I will be taking it to another dyno that will juat run the car to its limit :-) Rob. Glanza Mac
I'm gutted mate :-P I thought today I'd be close to you but due to it being lean apparently they won't rev it all the way but I'll get it done else where :-) Rob.
morgey
Haha no doubt youll get there and when you do ita time for open itb's, decat and a remap Did it have a probe up the exhaust? Thats how they usually test afr on dyno days. Tbf if you're not sure get it done else where and see. If its the same again then obviously the p28 is the issue Edited September 13, 2014 by morgey
Glanza Mac
I can't recall them putting anything up the exhaust but yeah it's Probs the ecu and the fact my inlet is alot bigger than standard and there's not enough fuel to go with it :-) Rob.
dan106
Love this! NIce work dude
morgey
Yeah the bigger inlet mani might affect the map signal causing fueling differences i guess. Get it remapped you know you want to ;)
Glanza Mac
It's not my ecu buddy, I think I will buy a ecu for it and map it n/a :-) a few more track days n/a are needed before the engine swap and turbo purchase :-) Rob.
morgey
The bonus with them p28's is the ability to map them (toyota tuning really missed out there) Get ya hands on one and get it free'd up properly, could use it for the turbo motor if need be.
Glanza Mac
Yeah plan is, is go get a hondata s300 so I can have all the fancy bits like launch control, boost by gear etc etc :-) Rob.

Ollieh17
Would look better with a white back end and just the carbon bonnet. Also maybe aftermarket top spoiler. Just my opinon
Glanza Mac
I have thought this myself, I may sell the rear carbon spoilers and go for a genuine livesports spoiler and get it carbon skinned then get a oem rear splitter and cut half of it for a carbon diffuser :-) Rob. amatthews45
They do probed the exhaust at RS tuning you just dont see it because they point car at you. They got good gear there! Who ran the car? Specky? RS tuning always got good stuff going on there
Glanza Mac
There was 3 lads there taking it in turns running the cars we took :-) Fair enough, can't knock there knowledge but I did want them to rev the car regardless of how it was running but NvmRob.
