lol. cheers guys. only been driving the starlet a week and the 8 fells so strange to drive. even the other rx8 feels different to this. dons't feel as quick too. but that might just be in my head as the other 8 was really loud.

haven't got any photos yet but its just a normal blue 231ps rx8. going to put the wheels and coilovers on it soon.

Just a question......why didnt your mum and step dad leave it until you slapped a rad on it? That was the only problem after all

As shorty said. It runs but misfires when hot and doesn't start again when hot. it has low compression.

The new car has some green stuff pads and there really good! i have some in the starlet and the pants. lol.

I've also bought a Mazdaspeed spoiler to, should finish the kit off nicely. I'll get some photos of the new one over the weekend.

And this bring us to fest.

I went on track twice. but due to the lack of organization on my part and the traffic i missed the first ten minutes of the session and had no camera's set up.

I got a good feel for the car and the track. so i slowly started to build my confidence up but then the session ended.

when i got back i started getting ready for the second session. set the camera's up and having a quick check over the fuilds to make sure every thing was sorted.

Here is what happened in the second session.

hich resulted in this.

That skirt is fucked. Currently driving about with one on because im Baller. the Bumper came of and now has shit loads of zip ties holding it together, same with the inner arch. Good times.

I've came to the conclusion that i need, 1. Downforce and 2. A Bucket seat

Roll on JF2

I started switching the springs over on Tuesday it was pretty easy, took a few hours. most of that was spent waiting for the WD40 so soak in. the suspension is only 6 months old and the collars where pretty seized up already.

I stripped them apart and give them a clean up, got rid of all the dirt and grime and cleaned the threads and lube them up

Spring comparison on the fronts, they are a bit thicker. but the main difference is the part number lol.

Rear Comparison, the new spring is taller and is a normal cylinder shape, not like the barrel type on the right.
