Weyro Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 haha yea, ive had it done since july last year, but this picture accurately represents my reaction when i took it for its first spin at 1bar haha Quote
Amjad Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 LOL Gotta love it! I've been a passenger in 2 TD04 GTs but yet to drive one! Quote
akyakapotter Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Awesome feeling isn't it can't wait till mine is back on the road Quote
Jhandy Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I nearly hit the central reservation when I put my foot down after buying my one. Fucking epic though Quote
starletburkie Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Td04 is the job!! Wayyy better than hybrids on stock internals for a fact Quote
Stefan_s Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Drove mine for the first time in 4 months today, feels soo good to have boost again but traction is an issue with greasy roads lol Quote
Whitenoize Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Td04 is good like the pull is harder but I was was out with my mate he's running a ct9 with a load of mods and a emb set up and he leaves the other guy for shit that's on tdo4 with a fcd and fpr I really think that people with the ryt mods and a good set up can out run a tdo4 any day they boath claim ther cars are 200 bhp the ct9 wins all day long Quote
starletburkie Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Well I raced a ct9 at a bar on jam ecu and im one 0.6bar td04 stock ecu and they were both the same Quote
Weyro Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 yea you cant compare ct9 and td04, the ct9 feels smoother, but td04 is just a different planet Quote
Whitenoize Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I really think with a good ct9 set up and a cheep tdo4 fcd and rrfpr.. ct9 can win all day long after what I saw tonight don't get me wrong like a good tdo4 is mega but a lot of people do it on the cheep I'm going for 190 from my ct9 set up and I really think it will do ok with the big boys Quote
Whitenoize Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 by the way my mate is running 1.1 on a p&p ecu 192bhp left the tdo4 for shit the tdo4 is on a emb that he got 2nd hand and hasn't been mapped to his car but the point is tdo4 isn't that much better than a really good ct9 set up imop Quote
Whitenoize Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Not another TD04 vs CT9 thread Lol its lookin like that mate Quote
iamlegend Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) by the way my mate is running 1.1 on a p&p ecu 192bhp left the tdo4 for shit the tdo4 is on a emb that he got 2nd hand and hasn't been mapped to his car but the point is tdo4 isn't that much better than a really good ct9 set up imopJust answered own question... Wasn't mapped to his car.. Simples! No wonder it lost!Tdo4 powwwwa is just lovely can't wait for more boost this time I. The tdo4 mwwwhhhhahah! Edited March 2, 2013 by iamlegend Quote
Whitenoize Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Can see this thread getting heated lol I'm gona run as much boost as possible with my ct9 can't see it being that far off the pace tbh Quote
morgey Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) All im guna say is, Fuck boost Mwhabaha Edited March 2, 2013 by morgey Quote
Starbo Moorley Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Td04 have been done to death get a proper turbo in there ! Quote
Critic Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Its plain and simple.. CT9 is more for the streets.TD04 is more for motorways.. My friend had a ct9 running 170bhp and it killed my other friends TD04s glanza which was running around 220bhp.CT9 dusted him all day long acceleration, but as soon as they were on motorways, the TD04 would win. Quote
akyakapotter Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 My td04 is so much smoother than ct9 and the pull is awesome so much more with td04 all down to the map and mapper td FTW Quote
