Glanza-Ben Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Rotate your ct9 to face down so the intercooler will then fit Quote
steve1093 Posted December 7, 2014 Author Posted December 7, 2014 The fmic will fit matey it's been done many times... HmmmThe front mount won't fit the CT9 as the pipework is made for the TD04? Or is there a way of making it fit without spending any money? Absolutely skint...Rotate your ct9 to face down so the intercooler will then fitIt's the fittings on the rocker that stop the top mount being fitted, and the front mount pipework is made up for the TD04, and i'm still running the CT9 at the moment? wickedep Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 mate the cold side piping is the same whether its ct9 or td04. its the hot side thats a little different. but you should be able to modify the td04 hot pipe to fit the rotated ct9 mate. Quote

steve1093 Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Definatly needs some TLC! Won't be using this over the winter, so will hopefully get lots done if all goes well...Plans over winter:- Cambelt- Aux belt/power steering belt- Water pump- Remove A/C pump- Oil/filter change- Clean oil sump- Replace driveshafts- Rear discs and pads- Fit Whiteline front/rear ARB- Fit rocker cover/catch can (half done)- Fit Nardi steering wheel- Clean the whole car, several times...And if all that goes to plan, then I'll finally fit the TD04 kit that I've had sat around for ages... then up to TD for mapping That all probably won't happen though due to lack of funds, but we will wait and see.. steve1093 Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 So progress is actually happening... It's like a miracle hahaFitted the spark plug tube seals that I buggered up last time, so the rocker cover is now fitted.Oil drainedAircon pump is now removedDecat pipe and manifold removedSo all is pretty much now ready for the TD04 kit to go on. Just a few little bits left to do Quote
