The fmic will fit matey it's been done many times... Hmmm

The front mount won't fit the CT9 as the pipework is made for the TD04? Or is there a way of making it fit without spending any money? Absolutely skint...

Rotate your ct9 to face down so the intercooler will then fit

It's the fittings on the rocker that stop the top mount being fitted, and the front mount pipework is made up for the TD04, and i'm still running the CT9 at the moment?

Yea rotate the ct9 housing so it's facing down and td04 pipe work fits it

mate the cold side piping is the same whether its ct9 or td04. its the hot side thats a little different. but you should be able to modify the td04 hot pipe to fit the rotated ct9 mate.

Cheers Sacha, only a temporary thing until I have some spare money for mapping

Mate that gts is too clean to be driven daily lol! Your mx5 too? Lovely glanza mate :)

Cheers buddy, ran out of petrol at the moment so I'm not using it until I get paid haha. The mx5 is the previous owners from when I went up to view it, looks awesome though, and I'm not normally a fan of them.

Thanks again bud :)

Definatly needs some TLC! Won't be using this over the winter, so will hopefully get lots done if all goes well...

Plans over winter:

- Cambelt

- Aux belt/power steering belt

- Water pump

- Remove A/C pump

- Oil/filter change

- Clean oil sump

- Replace driveshafts

- Rear discs and pads

- Fit Whiteline front/rear ARB

- Fit rocker cover/catch can (half done)

- Fit Nardi steering wheel

- Clean the whole car, several times...

And if all that goes to plan, then I'll finally fit the TD04 kit that I've had sat around for ages... then up to TD for mapping :)

That all probably won't happen though due to lack of funds, but we will wait and see..

  • 5 weeks later...

So progress is actually happening... It's like a miracle haha

Fitted the spark plug tube seals that I buggered up last time, so the rocker cover is now fitted.

Oil drained

Aircon pump is now removed

Decat pipe and manifold removed

So all is pretty much now ready for the TD04 kit to go on. Just a few little bits left to do

  • 2 months later...

So, about a year later I have finally booked this in for mapping @ Tuning Developments on 25th April!

A massive thanks in advance to Nick (gt-nick), who is fitting everything and getting the car sorted ready for mapping.

Got a few bits to order before it heads up to TD:

- Tuning Developments 6 puck paddle clutch

- Tuning Developments ajustable fuel pressure regulator

Apart from the fact I'm skint and will be for the next few months, I cannot wait for it to be done! :)

Then enjoy this and onwards with the Skyline haha

So I now have the car back on the road, all MoT'd etc... Will be using this as the daily for the next few weeks as in need to run the new clutch in before mapping.

Although I can barely hit any boost, it already sounds incredible, and that's even without the screamer!

New parts fitted:

- WEPR TD04 kit (Top mount ram style manifold)

- WEPR hybrid TD04

- WEPR FMIC

- Front ARB

- Rear ARB

- Spec Clutch

- Nardi wheel w/ HKB boss

- CV boots

- Cambelt

- All Aux belts
