It’s up for 900 and was his mother’s car (he seemed around 50 years old himself). She’s had it from new and has got too old to drive it. She can’t find any history. The body needs a tlc as you can see. Id be tempted myself but am in the middle of doing my GT. The bumper almost fits on but just needs a little trim on the lower section for it to sit flush

I’ll be using all 4 mounts: 2 underneath will bolt near the lower rad bracket and the upper 2 will bolt to the bumper mounting bar anchor points. the brackets they give you are pretty much useless which I was fully expecting. I’ll post pictures of the brackets once I’ve made them.

Managed to get it pretty level and centred, none of the pipe work fowls or rubs.

I test fitted the FMIC today- it’s a pretty good fit to be honest. The hot side is a little close to my aftermarket manifold so a bit of tweaking to do there.

No idea what his fucking deal is mate, why try it so many times, surely it’s not worth all the agro as he will never get away with it if you use PayPal

My rocker arrived today from RW-D. I’ve got to say, the quality is spot on. Not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Last week I got the turbo kit back on the car and started test fitting the FMIC but ran out of time. I’m on leave this week so next week I’ll try to get the FMIC fully fitted.

Thanks for the help mate good to know some background info. The lines are absolutely fine, just the outer shielding that’s worn.

Item Starlet Wilwood big brake kit. The kit consists of: Wilwood four piston callipers (120-7377). The callipers are super light compared to the stock cast items. They need a dust boot kit which are available from wilwood. One calliper is slightly faded. Calliper to hub, mounting brackets. Earls braided brake lines. Wear to protective sleeves in one area but no damage to the braided line. Two piece rotors. The discs need replacing. These can be found at Wilwood or to save on import tax, rallydesign.co.uk. Kerri at WMS will also make a pair

Great to see it out and about again mate love the build, massively underrated engines. Is the plan to run boost by gear? Or just max attack?

Also, when I removed my rocker the head had sealant all the way over the humps so I’m not sure if I need to do the same when refitting

Great info with the rocker sealant as I should be getting my cover back from RWD this week and wondered where I need to apply the sealant. What sealant did you use?

Great progress mate. Only owned mine 10 months and it’s never been On the road so I can imagine the feeling after two years. I’ve got some willwood four pots that I’m considering selling it you’re interested. They have the correct mounting brackets and have braided lines plus the two piece disks
