Nice. I'm going to make a table from my spare 4age I think. Let me know how you get on
-
I'm using millers NT 75w 90 stuff. That's nice and smooth in mine.

In my 1.4 corolla with trip computer it makes absolutely fuck all difference whether I have the aircon turned on or off. It's an electric clutch so it's not doing anything when turned off just the resistance from some bearings

Keep it. I wish my starlet had it, black car, any form of sun baking hot sweat box! If you're happy with the car now and it has it, you're going to have more power with a td04 so you'll notice it even less so why get rid?

Didn't that quimbey dude have a mate That modded the map sensor to run a turbo on a stock 4efe ecu. Could do it for like 50 or something daft. Sure I'm not imagining it? :s

They look Sweet as fook!

Yeah I agree. Especially the fact that all the cars were built in Japan, why not make 1 or 2 uk spec cars with the dark grey? And I'm not that worried. I might be changing my rear speaker setup at some point anyway
-
You will have to loose your reverse light or get a Glanza boot surround and wire that in. Other wise it's unclip the old and clip in the new. Being 98 spec are you getting the whole light housing and not just the lense yeah?

What is your preferred suspension damping setup?
morgey replied to Amjad's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Naa I've driven it down roads like this before and it wasn't anything like this. I'm going to have a look over it and see if there's anything obvious loose or maybe replace my ball joints as that's the closest thing I've had gone that felt like this. -

I liked mine with the oem farb. This was coming round some quite bumpy corners the steering was snatching and pulling me inwards quite a lot which was causing the car to get a bit unsettled. Didn't fill me with the most confidence so I slowed up rather than binning it! -
Haha I only know because I had to make a hole in my glanza ones and it turned out my uk spec ones had this so I used it to cover a rather badly cut hole lol I was going to say I've never seen a dark grey one. They've always been light grey because it uk seems they were only fitted to UK cars?

It's for the rear speaker wiring in the boot Comes out of the rhs under the parcel shelf and is a cable tidy for the wiring. If you don't want it ill have it. My one is light grey lol

Was one of these on track at snetty this evening, r888's and some adjustable coilovers and it was flying around. Had loads of cornering speed

Currently experimenting and not happy with it on B roads as im getting loads of bump steer that I need to look at but that's only came about since having my suspension off for a clean and service BC coilovers standard springs 6/4 iirc Whiteline 24mm farb Fixed Rarb Alk Ad08's Just had tracking done. Toe is 0 Camber 0.45 Front 6 Rear 4 Tyre pressures are 23/20 front rear. Track usage I was told to turn the damping to 18-20 front and 14-16 rear. And to turn it harder until the understeer minimises. Seems a strange setup but was recommended by a lotus technician. I can understand the thinking behind it but yet to test it on track! Might set it to have some toe in and see how it goes. I'd like to think that will help the bump steer? -
They might have done a couple of variants. A twin pot and single pot version?

Cheers does make me grin everytime haha Not sure what it is now after loosing the viscous coupling. Think it used to be 80 20 or 70 30 maybe so should be much more equal
-
Great cars and soo light! This weighs in at just over 900kgs with all the 4wd system etc. Add 250+ hp and that's pretty mental! He's hoping to get into the 11's if he takes it back to pod

I think it stands like this G13b from a swift gti. Oversized Forged pistons T28 Turbo from a 200sx I think. rebuilt to a higher spec Megasquirt ecu. With L/C, flat foot shift Hollowed stock fuel rail with rrfpr 7mgte injectors I think Ported head Reversed inlet manifold for better IC pipework. 3" downpipe to remote 3" cutout 2.5" back when shutout closed Justy 4wd box as they are closer ratio to the swift 4wd box. Removed the viscous coupling and welded rear diff. Stripped completely but with a roll cage. Custom suspension setup Modified swift gti ARB's Probably loads more. Runs low 12's @ 1.2bar 214whp iirc

It's not bad, no match for my mates justy though lol Mods are Ae111 levin c56 lsd box 75mm trumpets Itg pod filter Tomei poncams 264 in 256 ex Hks 4-1 mani Rx7 3" sports cat 2.5" cat back And a Fidanza flywheel* Still got full interior

Don't know about the rest of it but if you use the 5e ecu you will need to bridge the neutral start switch to allow the car to start. It's the 2 largest wires on the auto box plug

Just because not everybody will check my thread. Here's what it's like inside my car when you put your foot on the loud pedal. Mines the only open window, Gopro is in a waterproof housing also. >http://youtu.be/EfgbW_14i_A

Stock they have 3 but the hole for the 4th is there. When you fit coilovers they utilise the 4th hole. Car you get pictures of the problem?
