You wouldnt need that for 150whp, I make 131whp and mines got Hks 4-1 mani 3" sports cat 2.5" cat back Fidanza F/w 75mm trumpets Itg sock filter. Auto ecu With a set of good cams, .6mm trd head gasket, and a ecu and map i wouldnt be far off 150whp But if raising the rev limit, balanced silvertop or late 16v rods and a set of arp rod bolts would be strongly advisable

Is that the USDM kit or the one youre dealing with? It might be supplying an earth to another bulb. In which case it would be wired to the other black wire. But thats only an assumption im afraid

Im the same as liam, got the 277x25mm kit braided lines ds2500 pads and from somewhere else motul 600 fluid. Wms was about £623 fluid another £20ish The reason i upgraded was because i cooked my brakes on a 20minute track seasion Before then just for road use i had braided lines, good brand discs and high temp fluid and yellow stuff pads. The yellows did need a little bit of heat but were good after the first bit of braking. But ds2500's seem a better pad IMO

5th gear play and jumping out help please
morgey replied to Glanza-Ben's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
I've read on corolla forums that its just the selector fork that causes it. If you dont mind getting your hands dirty try the fork first, if it doesnt fix it you can always have it back apart and do the gear and syncro at a later date. -
Get a multimeter out, the other option is its a switched earth for the hazard and indicator circuit separately

Makes me wanna chant, "the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire" lol But i will refrain until you get some results

5th gear play and jumping out help please
morgey replied to Glanza-Ben's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
im pretty sure you dont need to do all of this and really only need to replace the selector arm but worse case scenario heres the guide taggy linked me to, for replacing the whole of 5th gear hub synco and selector fork. doing everything will cost about £200 in parts http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/kb.php?mode=article&k=100 -
5th gear play and jumping out help please
morgey replied to Glanza-Ben's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
you can do it on the car just about. its only the 5th gear end casing that needs to be removed. just need to drop the rear and gearbox mount and get to it from the passenger side arch. it would be easier off the car though. Not sure how much the arms are though, I've got a spare in my shed from a good box if anyone wants to attempt it. -
5th gear play and jumping out help please
morgey replied to Glanza-Ben's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
its the selector fork on 5th gear thats bent. its a common problem in AE92 corolla gti's, driving along with your hand resting on the gear stick in 5th gear can cause it. taggy did a write up on changing it -
Cant get time off, but thats a rather nasty cold you've got coming along ;) haha

Beaten your credit card debt or personal loan..
morgey replied to 1991 starlet owner's topic in Lifestyle General
Im 25 and have never owned a credit card and don't want one. My brothers the same at 27, his problem is he has absolutely no credit history. Whereas I've had a contracted phone which has contributed slightly lol Im with most other people, if i want something ill save for it. The only 'loan' ill take out is a mortgage -
Ahh well no idea, just no that I've got a remote start alarm without a neutral switch so my car drives off if it in gear lol If you decide to sell it drop me a Pm
-
How much you want for it?
-
If it makes the turbo spool it will create positive pressure, therefore bubbles
-
Headwork, cams, ecu, exhaust, mani, flywheel, intake parts, possibly pistons. Not a hugely tunable n/a engine without a lot of work tbh
-
Deciding between the corolla the starlet or the trueno, or somehow all 3
