Test fitted one this evening, going to have to remove the heat/dust shield as they sit incredibly close to the hub, not sure if the custom work i did to the hub meant it sits closer than normal but they seem central in the caliper so guessing its just how they are! eitherway here it is only hand tight at the moment, but will be fitting them properly friday

Id tell them what it says on every can of spray paint you buy... Test on and inconspicuous area first? They're "professionals" if they knew the car had been resprayed then they should know that the colour match could be off so they should have checked/tested it first. The only thing i would pay for is the new mix of paint out of a good will gesture!

Yeah i can see that, thats why you need to get it back to the original level ideally. Best place to jack it is on the sump, but put a bit of wood between the jack and the sump to spread the load and avoid damaging it. -

Still hard too tell whats happened, im guessing the mount has pulled off of the block. The lower bolt looks asif its damaged near the end which might mean its worked loose and hopefully the other bolts may have aswel. Id start by jackng the engine up the the original level, remove the upper timing belt cover and see if you can see where the mount should bolt too the block. Im guessing theres 3 bolts normally so see if thera any damage to the block around where the mount should meet it. If its hard to see whats going on get some more pics of underneath the cover for us to see! -
I think keri was looking at making a kit for 14" rims maybe drop em a Pm and see what they say

Yeah i did think about doing it properly but its all money and as my wallet took a hit from the brakes im doing it diy stylee for now. If i get the front end resprayed ill have that finished and done at the same time As for the decals this is the bonnet one which is as it is in this pic (the left one is the OEM sticker) Im having the side ones made with the cut out but with a little fill in to stick on the rub strip, but he can make these without the cut out aswel. He should also be able to do different colours aswel!

when i first got my corolla, that whined really bad in 5th on overrun, i put some basic wilco's GL5 75w90 oil in it and for 6 months it was much much better, 3 years and 30k later and its still quieter but is getting noisy again. I would imagine a better quality oil would help even more.

haha I've got more than enough of them, any i can find and get rid of i will!

Right since going on track at the end of august i haven't used my car all that much due to cracking a disc and it making a horrible noise from the RARB all the time. i attended JAE, santa pod for jap show and did the miss banzai tunnel run (thinking about it thats about 600 miles of driving :s) but other than than its barely been used, and this is why. not too bad but, probably not advisable to be driving on! So after a bit of deliberation on whether to just replace what i had or upgrade. I decided that rather than suffering the same fate again i would upgrade, and this is what i ended u

you shouldnt do, I've got a completely different engined ecu in my car and it never had a problem unless i didnt have a key with the original chip in it that came with the car. might be a silly question, not sure if it would even fit, but the ecu you brought isnt for an auto is it?

Sweet! Ill give them a once over when im sorting my brakes this weekend Cheers

Basically since fitting my whiteline RARB I've been getting knocking and creaking noises coming from it. Now I've given it a jolly good yank and it seems solid as, im just wondering if its just that its 2nd hand and the bushes are dry (no i didnt have any grease at the time!) or if they're worn maybe? Or even if I've drilled the drop link holes in the wrong place (no instructions) i mounted them vertically above the rear most part of the bar? Anybody have the same/similar problems? Thanks for any input in advance

Sure its not the dipstick? I mean if the engines dropped it could have knocked it and split it, and if it was running when it happened it would have gone everywhere! Best bet get it looked at and see whats going on! -
I get this on my own car whenever i work on it
