Got the OEM FTE dizzy?

I doubt the previous owner did anything to it... mid 20's girly girl learning to drive RHD... The tabs did look broken and corroded, not cut, and something was blocking the flow in the rad... Anyways it's now fixed and it's just a beater anyway. The good one will be back on the road shortly.

I didn't make it... I was so close, but just didn't have enough time to complete the task at hand. I wanted my car running before 2015. Did not happen. I have only a few things left to do. Exhaust, rad hoses, fluids, catch cans and vacuum lines. See you next week.

When I fitted my Glanza surround, I had the glanza harness as weel, it plugged in the N/A connector directly, all I had to do was to run a wire for the reverse lights.

I use OEM nuts with Plastidip. I dipped the wheels black while on the car, so nuts got some as well, I was surprised how well the dip resisted multiple rattle gun removals and installs. Wheels keep going on and off as I'm swapping engines now and swapped brakes recently, they're still black...

Make sure you have the latest software in you GoPro's, I didn't and it would stop filming randomly between 10 seconds to 90 seconds in. Very annoying, but it's an easy and FREE fix from GoPro. As for software, I use the windows 8 included Cyberlink power director, basic stuff but does what I want. For timelapses I downloaded this free program called VirtualDub. There's a few how-to's online, I used this one.

Cheers guys. Can't wait to have this engine running... The 4E is out, I just have a few sensors to swap over and fit the pick up and sump when the 5E gets off the bench... Fit the flywheel clutch and trans when in the car...

What standard pressure should it be set to? I'll be fitting mine when I receive it, and I won't go to the dyno till the SC14 is fitted. I saw a few Jap's stock pressure at 43 Psi, Honda and Mitsi, is Toyota the same?

I guess it would be a good idea not to run any fuel at that point... Easy enough, so once I get oil pressure on starter, just add fuel and fire to the mix. Sounds fun

Yes you'd want a relay... and a fuse.

I'm dropping my engine in this week, wanted to know if there's a special procedure to follow for a 5E, oil pump priming or whatever... There hasn't been any oil in it since end of June. No, It doesn't have a turbo... Thanks

12X1.25 thread, for a stand you'd need at least 3x 125mm long plus one a bit longer for the rear hole (non-threaded) and a nut. or get them all longer and get some washers

Would you mind sharing your findings on this? I don't have A/C anymore, I'm interested... by the way I have a broken one if you're just looking to fill the hole. I'm a bit far tho, but if you're not in a rush I can send it for postage.

Wouldn't be allowed Down Under... I had to get my car inspected for lug nuts 2mm out of the fenders... Hazardous to pedestrians they said. Like a Ute with aluminum tray sticking out 4 inches isn't?

Battery. did you check the voltage? Under 11.8V it won't usually start.

As mentionned before, my first thought would be the MAP sensor, or if you already have one there, block it off. This is what I have for the 2 off the coolant housing:

Not trying to change anyone's mind... I know it doesn't work like that, like there's no way in hell you'd make me like German cars or Fords, While some others swear by them... I just know for fact they're reliable, and they can move if you want to. It'll still never beat a super car... Over and out.

First pic: One goes to the throttle body, the other to the canister under the fuel filter. Second pic, I can't help just from the pic, I can't figure where it is exactly on the engine... Third, as Jim said, don't worry. just leave it there to block the hole.

Reminds me... Is the nipple pointing up? I've heard a few peps installing the calipers on the wrong side with similar issues...
