Adjustable RARB users: What setting do you run?
RobSR replied to Amjad's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Thats what you think.. doesn't mean its true. The hole closest to the rear axle is the hardest setting. If you don't believe me consult the fitting instructions! - http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/install_guides/Z320_Z188.pdf -

Robs Precision Boosted Track Build..She's for sale......
RobSR replied to RobSR's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
I was thinking inner wing on the drivers side but I don't think I'll have loads of room to run the pipework as I wanna keep it neat. It's gonna be fully stripped with one seat so it'll probs end up in passenger footwell -

A bit curious about the power to weight ratio
RobSR replied to TheAmerican's topic in Lifestyle General
Glad someone said it lol! In answer to the whole astra/corsa thing, GT i had pulled on a Arctic edition VXR running .6 bar on a hybrid. probs was about 160bhp. -

RobSR replied to RobSR's topic in I Spy, Have You Been Spotted?
Haha legend mate. Whats your setup / do you have a build thread? -
Couple of Glanza's floating round stevenage last night? Anyone on here? Silver one was ripping about on some kind of externally gated kit - sounded well!

Again not needed but it doesn't hurt.

nice pie cuts on the screamer! Looks a nice setup.

It'll in theory make more power to due to less turbulence in the exhaust so its worth doing. Someone did a test (granted it was on a a supra, but same principle) and it made a healthy chunk more power when it was atmospheric

Had this a while now but never actually posted this up! Some of you would of seen it for sale the other week, but after someone came to view it i couldn't actually bare to see it go so have decided to keep it. I brought this last August after not having the time to boost the SR. I now have a nice daily so don't have to rely on this anymore which means i can pull it all apart and actually build something respectable. Mind you i think this is gonna be abit of a slow burner as i still have no time whatsoever due to work! Was brought from Dale (Rinseep82) off here, didn't do all that much with it at the start, and still haven't really apart from tidying up a few bits here and there. Not gonna bother listing the spec as its all gonna start coming off this sunday - will try and keep this updated as i go, and i endeavour to finish a properly built track focus'd starlet! A pic of what it currently is sitting like.
-
Thought it would be about that. Nice result
-
If this champion bell is going actually ill pop down.

Agreed 288 on paper/specs is massively big for an EP, but I've not driven another cam'd starlet that was even remotely similar to how those came alive around 6k.
-
^ Thats because you used yellow stuff - EBC stuff is pap. Wouldn't bother with dimpled discs either tbh but each to their own. Never looked in to it, do performance friction make ep fitment pads i wonder...

EP-Azz's Billet Wheel'd 300bhp forged slag
RobSR replied to EP-Azz's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
They aint all that tbh. One could only pull about 4 lengths on my mates Mk4 GSI astra that was running 300bhp. As said, all about the weight. -
Nice stuff. What boost? 1.5 bar ish? Get a graph up in here if you have one!
-
Might pop up if some familiar faces are going. Won't be in the Glanza tho.
