  1. Sure, but this is a community forum for Starlet enthusiasts. A niché market. It's not like selling to some Joey on eBay, should have stuck with the Gentleman's agreement. Even if it was more of a ballache.
  2. No mate. For the first time in this cars ownership I have just been using it. Mainly to grab a Starbucks and back but it's been nice to just use it. The boot lid is deteriorating quite rapidly, I need to get it sorted ASAP. I'm keeping a keen eye on your project though.
  3. Okay, I'm invested. When can we see some updates Lovely car and I want to see it put to its former glory!
  4. Either way, it's a single port actuator, diverting it through the solenoid isn't changing the fact that the wastegate is due to open at a certain sensory pressure.
  5. No because that's not how an actuator works. The stock actuator has two preload settings. The solenoid diverts the sensory flow to either one of the preloads. The HKS actuator only has one adjustable preload setting. So diverting the air through a T piece isn't going to solve anything. Some people suggested bleeding to atmosphere, but again this isn't a good idea. Since you're bleeding the sensory off to atmosphere, the actuator would never open.
  6. You must have the dual port actuator that the car came with.
  7. Ohh nice. Got any photos of your EG?
  8. You're kidding? I just run the Ring Xenons and they're mega bright!
  9. Lovely colour on that Starlet. Nice Mazda as well! Good choice of a car to be fair.
  10. Mk1/2 or Mk3? Mk3 lights are very bright and can be retroactively fitted to Mk1/2.
  11. That polished inlet manifold looks really good to be fair!
  12. There is actually. JDM Spec'd Starlet. Good luck finding one though.... Starlet Remix
  13. Wow. That is stunning. My mate had a fresh Evo V GSR Import. Completely standard. Superb cars. Was unbelievably reliable. I mean he thrashed it and then some. One of the greats for sure!
  14. Smart Glanza though. It was nice seeing what you done with it. What you moving on to?
  15. Aww mate! I my heart bleeds for you. What an awful place to have to go to for work...
  16. Right in the fecking Eye balls, whilst you're driving. But thats just dust right?
  17. If it's standard and you're on a budget, then just get OEM headgasket. £40. And then new head bolts. And get the head skimmed. Then reassemble. Simple job shouldn't cost more than £200 for parts and skimming labor. Then it's time for a garage or yourself to fit it.
  18. Yes, you can fit an LSD to a Non-LSD box. That's really interesting. So that could potentially eliminate some torque steer if the driveshafts are similar in size.
  19. When the car is jacked up and in neutral, if an LSD is fitted, you can rotate one of the wheels and the other will spin. Obviously if it's in gear then both wheels will spin since all cars will have a differential, but in neutral it should not spin.
