Still smoking after rebuild Please help
Calum122 replied to Antonglanza#no2's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
Turbo failed on my mates EJ20 and it was still smoking after he rebuilt it. Took a little while for the smoke to disappear. -
Oh yeah that looks smart!

Can anyone confirm what headlights these are. Ep82?

But I thought GT lenses were plastic, hence why they glaze over time. -

Don't think they're GT Lights then bud. Sure someone will confirm this, mine were plastic. And the SOL lights were glass. Don't know why the non-gt lights were better spec. -

I had a set of EP82 GT Lights and EP82 Sol Lights (JDM) and they are distinctly different. The Sol lights are glass for starters where as the turbo lights are plastic. The Sol lights don't fit either, so need to be careful. These don't look like either of those two types. But it was a long time ago and I never fitted the lights. -
At the end of the day, Facebook is just convenient. To me that just means people are lazy and will just take the easiest thing to them. I bet you don't get the knowledge like you do on forums. I wouldn't know, I don't have FaceAche

These guys are deadly driving on the wrong side of the road! -
I've done brake lines on my Starlet, runs along a similar path to the fuel line. To be honest, it's not that hard to just make up new lines in Copper/Kunifer etc...

One hole lined up, then I just drilled through the wall and rivnut'd the bottle in place.

Reverting back to original? Ep82 mk2 mk3 frontend?
Calum122 replied to LeonL's topic in Exterior Design
They can be had. I sold a set of square lamps last year for like £50. I'm sure you'll find the bits you need. Getting an unchopped bumper may be hard. -

The definitive way to check is via the VIN. I believe TGTT has all the production codes from the associated VIN. Mk2 interior. Mk3 interior -
Wow, how did Toyota get that wrong? That sounds dangerous!

Yeah it'll be square lamps if it's a Mk2. Which L Reg indicates that. Interior is distinct in the MK2's Looks like you'll need a Mk2 Grill too. ALso also, looks like your bumper has been modified, so for that OEM goodness you need a new Mk2/3 bumper. -
Nope. Was simple enough

Looks decent to be fair. I remember trying to make one, it's crazy what you can get for the money these days. From Experience, the Geolocation can be within 20 metres, which is crazy accurate.
