  1. Looks like you've done a quality job there mate!
  2. I have a cusco lower arm brace with HKS Hi Power exhaust. Haven't fitted it yet and it won't be fitted for a while yet. But at a guess it will probably foul
  3. Yep, but took 8 weeks. And it's all money up front. Postage was £80, so that brought the total up to £400. Not quite the £320 I said earlier. So there are costs and time issues. My advice would be to order lots of stuff all in one go to reduce shipping costs. Or at leasts, cost of scale...
  4. Cheers Morgey. I know that sounds obvious but it is still good advice. Whatever happens I'll be sure to post back for others to find.
  5. Japan lol.
  6. Don't mean to dig up an old thread. So this is a GT rear beam. We are talking removing the rubber, and then the metal housing, much like the engine mounts?
  7. I got a Brand New Cusco Pan Hard Rod for around £60. In fact I got this lot for £330. Cusco Front and Rear Carbon Struts, £90 each New. Cusco Lower Arm Brace £30 new and the Cusco Pan Hard Rod. I haven't fitted the rest yet. But it is all legit.
  8. I was literally looking at this thinking that turbo is much bogger than yhe ct9 lol. Looks nice that does. You say this came.on the Autos? Wtf lol. Why isn't that on the manuals. Glws
  9. Stunning matw. Belongs in a museum!
  10. Right, sorry Socks I'm don't mean to hijack your thread here. I would see what Socks comes up with with his short shifter. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271958639814&alt=web This company seems to have come out from.nowhere or something. And it literally popped up in my ebay news feed and I was like yes please. It seems to drive very nicely with it and I think it's a good item. Expensive, but it's a neat design which is compact and easy to install. Sorry socks. Can't wait for the extension rod though!
  11. Got it off eBay. I don't know socks. It's very very short now. I reckon two short shifters might be overkill. With polybush gearbix mounts. Short shifter and the solid gear linkage bushes, it has radically changed the gear change. The hypersport ones are stupidly priced for what it is. But the difference is amazing, night and day and is literally a five minute job. So well worth it. I just bought mine from eBay. Am looking forward to Sock's extender. Should complete this aspect of the csr for me
  12. I just bought a hypersport short shifter and its redidiculous. It's a tiny bit of billet aluminium that sits on the gesr linkage. Two second job to fit snd the difference is nhght and day
  13. I think I'd be right in saying I've had chips that are more expensive than this bargain lmao.
  14. Yeah, because the engine is not a true twin cam system, the intake came is under tension. When removing the cams many forget to put the service bolt in and as such unspring the intake came. Take the rocker cover off and turn the cam shafts till you see a hole in the cog. You should be able to see right through that hole through both cogs. If they are miss aligned you will only see through to the where the cam gear splits. If it has been removed and not retensioned you will have to take off the intake came and retension the cams. Not a hard job at all and is a common for an amatuer to miss this.
  15. Lol my thoughts exactly. I'm sure it's a laugh, but when you don't drink... But I'm glad there are people who make the most of the given situation. I'm sure it's a laugh.
  16. John there was me thinking you were selling up the Starlet lmao. Can't resist can you.
  17. Me and my brother did a trip to Ireland for a car and it was well worth it, and easy! Locals are friendly and you get SO much of a better car. This is truly stunning. I'd say worth every penny. You can just tell the level of love for this motor just by looking under the bonnet. GLWS!
  18. She's a beaut. The car isn't that bad either ;) Nah lovely shots. The unedited ones make our country look GASH! Best only upload the edited ones
  19. Make sure the terminals are clean that connect the battery up to the car. If dirty they will need a clean. And clamp them on properly. As you're aware the starter motor requires considerable amounts of juice to get it going, if it struggles drawing the power then it simply won't turn over. I've had this on my car when I was working on it, and more recently my mates evo. So it's an easy fix that's worth while checking.
  20. Feels good to finally have a Starlet that actually runs, alright it leaks a bit of coolant but at least it works :D
