Ep82 or G lanza? Still sell them for the g lanza don't they
-
Aww that's lush! Would love to have the patience for that!

Lol. I didn't know what the collets were. Binned them! LMAO. Oh dear.... But yeah heads already skimmed and good to go. Hence why it needed cleaning. But now I've been told best to lap the valve and valve seats. So that's another job for another day Literally this car is never going back together at this pace. I managed to get most of the collets but need to buy about ten or so. Why can't they just be a standard size!

For the sake of £30 it's well worth doing the water pump at the same time mate. One of the bolts holding the pump on is underneather the crankshaft pulley and that will need removing before access to the pumpo can be amde. Whilst you can do this with the cam belt intact it's just easier whilst it's all off. And it's like £30. sSo why not

FML! WILL I EVER GET THIS DONE! But thank you for saying this. You're right, I know you're right. And I was thinking about it on the way home. I want to do a proper job. I'll rebuild the head. Next question, what exactly will I want to replace. Stem seals and springs? Just the stem seals. Also how do completely dissemble the head? I really didn't want to do this, but I can only see it destroying my cylinder if I don't. Good news though for anyone who cares, the head was badly warped, but it wasn't cracked. So that's always something. Advice appreciated.

This is where the seat locks to. It may not look like much but once its seated properly in the car it's a little more. And I personally just found it rather annoying. I really need these gone else they're going to the scrap yard. So someone who wants to modify these are good. Just cover postage and packaging (a lot of bubble wrap and tape was used to box these) and that will be fine.

Hi, Well picked up the cylinder head today and its full of swarfe. So what's the best way to clean it without damaging the stem seals or corroding parts. I was thinking, I know this may be bad, put the item in a box. Pressure wash the exterior and interior avoid direct pressure to the springs. Then quickly empty and finish cleaning with petrol. Then dry and coat in oil, WD etc. What do people think?>

You can still get the brackets new and are about 15 quid when I checked the other day

I can sort postage if you're interested

Located in Cheltenham Gloucestershire Can do mate. But the drivers side seat is okay. It's just the bloody ratchet. But I'll get some photos up tonight.

Still for sale if needed

If you want more I'll get some. But that's the actual unit that reclines. The rest is just how it bolts together.

#TIDGEY - Wepr Race spec Glanza V Tdo4 Build - NEARLY DONE

Looking very sweet -
I haven't taken any photos yet, but could probably show you with one I took earlier. Beneath that silver plate is a semi circle with teeth. Those teeth catch onto the lever which lock it into place. The back piece of the seat is held into place by two bolts on that bit of metal protruding to the right in the photo. That is held in tension by the small coil which is what makes it spring forward when the catch is released

You don't hang about Colin do you lmao!

From the rail there is the pivot bolted into the side of the chair. Can get photos if you want

Yeah. I got in touch with them. I accidently didn't hit send so it was my bad. Top seller he's offered full refund and has been very helpful. Just personally it felt a little.... Carbon Goodies do a trd horn and hopefully that will be better quality

That would make for an interesting race. Two stock cars against each other. Both 130 bhp. I know who I'd put my money on. As said there is something special about the driving of a mx5

Nice first post. So it's not so much a welcome but more a welcome back?

See I'm tempted to wait to see what you offer Jezza. Because the ride in my car is awful as it is. And I like powerflex components. But a softer alternative might be the way to go.

Item For Sale: Pair (Or singularly) EP 82 Seats with rails Item Condition & Description: Firstly I'll start with Passenger seat. Fine working condition seat. Ratchet works and they slide up and down fine. Minor blemishes to the seat, some of which is dirt from where they've been stored and some of small ash burns. Just typical for the age of these seats. I've tried to capture this the best I can. And on the seat belt side some of the stitching has started to come away. Definitely nothing major and any basic seamstress or you yourself could patch it up. I've pulled it back just to show by how much but it usually sits flush and is not noticeable. Just I would stitch it up. The drivers side is altogether a different story. Don't ask me how some one has done this, I really don't know. But they've managed to smash up about 6-10 teeth on the ratchet and as a result the seat is stuck in gangster mode. Its not so flat that you can't sit and drive in it. As I drove around like it since I bought the car. And its a comfy angle. But I like to sit upright to focus. This is a shame because the seat actually isn't that bad of condition. It's by no means perfect. But it's still nifty condition. Anyway I thought I'd have a crack at fixing it so dismantled it all but it's too far gone. Ideal for modification to different car or if you need a new back or bottom seat I can split it to cater for what ever part you want/need. What doesn't sell, regrettably will get binned. I don't want to bin it, but I also need to sell these to just claw back some cash spent on the replacement seats. So just something for these would be nice. A token offer. And price is definitely negotiable if collected. But a small fee is included if I have to arrange delivery, which I expect people will want these posted. Again the rails slided fine and there is the usual blemish to the seat and I unpicked the stitching to take it off the ratchet. But it's a clean unpick so will just want a seamstress to stitch it back together. I think that white stuff is just dirt. To be honest bought the car back in October, broke down when I got it to the drive and the seats have been in the house ever since gathering dust. As you will see we're renovating this part of the house so it does gather dust. But these seats aren't mint so please accept the few marks Please examine photos carefully, I don't want people to get the wrong idea. They're not mint, but there is no rips in them and are fairly sweet considering the car they came from is a bit hanging! Also they don't smell of smoke. I don't smoke. The burn marks were prior to my ownership. Price: Cover cost of postage and packaging (lots of tape and bubble wrap was used) and they're yours. Pictures: Passenger Seat: Drivers Side: Payment & Shipping Details: Collection preferred. Will need to get the items boxed up to work out postage. Prices don't include postage. But will probably be around the 10 mark again depending on item. I will calculate if I find anyway who's interested in these parts. Paypal please

ID-Workz sell them. Another company is making some too! Apparently, the Polybush ones can be quite harsh for the road. So I've bought them but have not yet fitted them. But the other company is developing ones with a little bit more give.

Yeah what was the Jingle about. I know I read it somewhere? Can't believe you would let this CLASSIC go

** SOLD ** GT Driving Force Steering Wheel, Pedals And Stand
Calum122 replied to Sefton-EP91's topic in General Sales Items
Wow that's a bargain. Always the way when a new console makes old gear obselete. Any GT fans though should snap this up. You haven't truly experienced GT until you've played it on a decent wheel, and this is a decent wheel.
