I could potentialy make it a non roller ball bearing for you. But it would all depend on what parts the turbos made up of, and whats available. Would still imagine it to cost a fair bit though (£500ish) Will be free to check it over for you though so if you need me to take a look and price it up let me know.

As much as i hate to turn down work Owen Developments for sure mate, i've seen there work and every other turbo companies and Owen's stuff is mega impressive Do you need it to be a roller ball bearing turbo? As i could possibly switch it too normal journal bearing.

Haha cheers mate, is pretty much a brand new unit now Is it a Roller ball bearing turbo? im assuming it is with the being a GT2871R. Unfortanely we cannot rebuild Roller ball bearing turbos as we dont have the facilities to do them and they are recommended not to be rebuilt. Only way to really rebuild one is to buy a brand new core assembly which is usually around the £600 just for the middle piece. If its a standard journal bearing GT28 then we can do that no bother and it'll probably be £188.70 if it just requires a clean up with new bearings and seals. Obviously the price will

I personally wouldnt touch a diesel BMW with a barge pole. They single handily keep me in business! Mainly the 320D but still do massive amounts of Diesel BMW turbos and they are always really badly choked up with excessive carbon. Heard a lot of horror stories of engine related problems too. Also a friend has a 330d just like the one advertised and his recently needed a oil pump changing and a few other parts. Cost in the region of 2k to fix. If its really what you want though, just make sure its been serviced as and when its needed it and hopefully it'll be okay.
