  1. No its not a good idea to just chuck a hybrid on a standard engine especially if running higher boost (stock boost levels might be ok as they run a little rich as standard), you'll need to get the fuelling checked and most likely tweaked to cater for the extra air the hybrid will be putting into the engine. People have chucked hybrids on in the past without doing this and then asked why their engine has blown.
  2. They're almost as bad as the autobahn's I had one that cracked in less than 4 months and have seen a lot of them do the same.
  3. Some glanza's came without electric mirrors....
  4. It'll be the release bearing causing it to not come out of gear properly or still roll when in gear, alot of starlets crunch into 3rd is the synchro is weak (mine included). I wouldn't bother fixing it unless its really bad, just change the release bearing and see if that sorts the in-gear rolling problem.
  5. When Farah Fawcett reached the gates of heaven God said he would grant her one wish, she wished that her children would be safe and live happy lifes.... so God killed Michael Jackson.
  6. You can't tell the condition from the turbine blades as you'll be running lean when off the throttle and pottering about etc Torque settings are 48Nm for exhaust mani to cylinder head, the others you just do rft No you won't need to prime the turbo as there will still be oil in it from taking it off, unless you've drained it completely somehow.
  7. You can barely fit your finger in one of the runners its that restrictive, its a flawed design where there is a bolt hole in the runner. You don't need to flow test it to show that its very restrictive. ;)
  8. Yes it can be welded, people have done so before. PS You don't need to open another topic on the same thing, give people a chance to give you an answer.
  9. If you're not running higher than standard boost it should be ok.
  10. Its too far down the line for them now mate, its good if they actually deliver what people have been waiting for but I'm pretty sure people won't be going back to toytuning in future. They already have been removed from uksc and I'm pretty sure they won't be welcomed back.
  11. This one looks about right. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EXH005-POWERFLEX-Upr...93%3A1|294%3A50 That shop has loads of them actually, so if you measure whats on your car I'm sure you'll find one to suit in here: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/POWERSPARKS_...c0Q2em14?_pgn=4
  12. They're just universal one's, even halfords sell them.
  13. I wonder if they'll give you an extra fine for driving with your foglights on during the day too?!
  14. Nuh uh the skirts are Jam too. But yes the horrible rear bumper is of varis design.
  15. Erm dunno, I've got loads of random photos! The other one I had was of the three together on the Jam website you just posted.
  16. Looks nice and very purposeful! However its not going to be 180bhp atw on a standard turbo, plus there's no such thing as "bhp atw" bhp specifically means the power at the flywheel, so it'll be xxxhp atw, just to be pedantic. Good luck with the rest of the rounds in the sprint series.
  17. I already told seab it was a JAM bumper. Here's another... I've got another pic but its too big to upload.
  18. You could try to find two front coilovers as you already are or tein can also rebuild the coilovers but its very expensive. You could also sell the coilovers as they are and fit the shocks with some springs that you posted up.
  19. No you'll need springs to go with them. The springs from your coilovers won't fit those shocks.
  20. Good progress mate and glad you're sticking with it, get an exhaust and decat on her and it will free up some more power.
  21. Get the tracking done and just have a good look over the suspension for anything loose or any worn bushes including the engine mounts.
  22. Welcome mate, bit of a backward stepso will be intersting to see what you think of the glanza, with a few choice mods I'm sure you'll enjoy it though.
  23. I didn't fancy answering all thse questions at once but still did. I'm just saying it for your benefit as people will read all that and be like " where do I start answering all that!?"
  24. Not really, doing various mods will change the level at which the turbo will naturally boost at so no matter what you set it at it will still creep upto a cetain level. Mine will always creep upto 1bar plus no matter what its set at.
