If its had a rebuild before and its been run in correctly, the bores will seem smooth due to the bedding in process. Did you do a compression test before separating the engine? Day

Cross hatch honing is a good process because it holds small pockets of all keeping the bore well lubricated. Best thing to do is have an engineer measure the bores for wear. Day

You'll find the bump stops are an astronomical price, I went to price a pair up for my Glanza as the bump stops were knackered. Think they came upto £48 a piece lol. Ended up pulling some mints ones off a paseo for £10 lol. Day

If the engine is left to hang without any support, you'll find the engine rests on the chassis rails, with some cars the crank sensor is in the contact area. I've seen it done before where the sensor has been smashed/damaged. Day

You got a panhard rod fitted? I know when i've had teins fitted I needed a panhard rod to realign the rear beam. Day

Competition clutch stage 4, bit expensive but worth it. Fitted one to a 300bhp exige which uses the exact clutch kit, nice solid feel on the pedal and 6000 miles on its still going strong. Day
