  1. I was talking to I assume your Mrs, I think she was venting all her anger at my company. Just glad we have resolved the problem where both parties are happy. Regards Ricky
  2. A Diesel with 5.4hp and weighs 400kg's! How does it move. (apart from slowly) Thats just a danger to have on the roads.
  3. I keep saying we will stock all the parts we fabricate. We started, typical if you have something on the shelf nobody orders it, or they want something different.
  4. Great buy, that could be the ticket to over 350hp
  5. I don't think spending money on an intake manifold is throwing money away. Lewis' intake manifold was indeed sent somewhere by mistake, but we got it back as soon as possible and resent it, I cannot control things with couriers sadly that's out of my hands. The intake has been finished for a long time, the problem was the supply of the fuel lab regulator, we don't stock them as to be honest, the standard reg and fuel rail setup is fine for most cars and we don't sell that many. We buy them from the official importer and they were out of stock. So at our expensive we imported some from the US and it turned up. Please don't try to blame your car taking 4 months to build on us. The engine has only gone in the car 1-2 days ago I was told? Hopefully the intake will arrive in the morning, I'll chace the courier up again first thing. If for whatever reason it doesn't turn up get it mapped on the stock intake, then after the show we will fit the intake and map the car for you free of charge. All the best with it, be interesting to see the numbers.
  6. We can do them, but only weld in at the moment.
  7. Our "bigger turbo kits" will spool as good/better than a TD04 and make more power than a TD05. I'd strongly recommend to save and buy something decent. Remember things like the manifold and downpipe design will play a part in spool and max power. I don't think any manifold on the market other than ours even has a "true" merge collector.
  8. Dasteks tend to read a little high, but dyno's are tuning tools, so long as you use the same one to compare your ok. Regards Ricky
  9. Handling wouldn't be bad at all if done right. Ride is actually about as good as it gets, Air is much more complaint than springs, Range Rovers, Porsche Cayennes etc all have air suspension. The Ferrari Enzo does also IIRC, although that might just be to lift the nose for bumps.
  10. Thats all well and good but... I wouldn't put a head on that engine with the block surface as it is. You haven't measured the bearings Did you measure the bores? Did you do the ring gaps? Did you measure the crank for round? Did you torque the bolts or measure stretch? Etc etc. Engine assembly is what your doing there, and yes, my 3 year old could do it. Engine building is all about measuring, tolerances/cleaning etc, this is what takes up the time. We could charge 2 hours labor to assemble an engine. We rebuild more forged engines because they have failed than we rebuild standard ones.
  11. We have extensively monitored crank case pressure on the dyno. I'd strongly advise you run one, it depends on the engine, the clearances, the power etc etc. Something not many people know is breather setups gain HP, and more than you might think. The cross sectional area of the bottom of a 4efte piston is approx 43cm^2. x 4 this is 172cm^2. Lets say you had a huge breather issue and the car had 1 bar crank case pressure. Thats 172kg's of force acting against the pistons every single rotation of the engine. At 6000rpm's thats 100 x per second. So even 0.01 bar would result in 172kg's per second acting against the pistons. Again 0.01bar is at the other extreme.
  12. You seem to be playing a guilt trip so people give "donations" what you should do is charge people to use the service. Other sites do this. You want to earn money from it which is fine. You earn from traders and you want to earn from members. The problem is not many would pay as the site breaks every couple of weeks.
  13. Why don't you/didn't you take Matt/Socks up on his offer of free hosting? Surely that'd sort all these problems with you not being able to afford to pay the bill?
  14. Snap on ones are over 600nm and not as expensive as those. I've got the Dewalt 3/8th's, and the Snap on. I reckon my air powered 3/8th's air gun is half the size of the Snap on but more powerful. The Snap on 1/2" is 1800nm torque and that still struggles on some things.
