  2. my money is on that she is shitting out all the crap that has built up since running like a pig with that sensor. she sounds like she's responsive and free reving there to me. looking forward to an update on the progress! Phil.
  3. A Corrolla sensor??? WTF!!!! lol Also, words cannot describe how very very jealous I am that I wasn't off today to come and hang out during the engine work. You're both gearheading it up in the sun, and I'm at work. Fail. Hope tomorrows work goes well!!! Phil.
  4. Don't think we're heading to this one. Went to Dubshed and Larne last week, nothing planned in April, then I think Harmony Hill in May might be the next one. Not sure if we'll go to Ford Fair or not. Phil.

  6. ^^^correct. Alfa Romeo 159s come with them - you can set the speed that you want it to go off at to act as a reminder not to go above a given speed. Naturally I have the one in mine turned off. Phil.

  18. nice to see some progress buddy! Phil.
  19. I can echo this sentiment! Just bought some Recaros from Wallace, top lad to deal with, excellent communication and drove about 200 miles to meet up with my brother for collection. Would not hesitate to buy from him again and strongly recommended to others! Phil.
  20. few pics up on instagram of how she sits Rich, #GaragEP. Phil.
  21. ^^^cant be that bad, I understood it buddy. Phil.
  22. good God thats the cleanest EP i've ever seen! and thats been hiding over here off the road for 10 years? Always amazes me what is hiding in NI that neither Jay nor I know anything about lol! £4k is alot, however, that looks superbly clean. If it was me buying that, I'm not sure I could bring myself to add anything other than Factory/TRD items lol. looks class, if you do get it, I hope to get a look round it at a meet sometime this year! Phil.
  23. So very, very many lols.

  24. lol i don't doubt that B! Seats, suspension, oil leak, wheels, paintwork, bonnet, maybe a manifold...so far to go lol! Progress will continue to be very slow, but such is the joy of owning a house and running a daily. The benefit of owning your own garage though is that it can sit, protected from the elements, and if only one bolt gets replaced every six months, then it doesnt annoy anyone by being in the way except me. The next update is actually to do with garage itself - I have the living room carpet lifted and ready to put down underneath her to lift her and me off the cold concrete - i just need to be able to pull her out of the garage first to put it down! and for that, I need the seats over lol! Phil.
  25. @JP - they are on the Evo rails with EP feet welded on. Other than a quick lick of hammerite on the welds, and a cheeky look to see if i can mount the crutch straps to the sub frame, they will pop straight in and be fully compatible with the Willans harnesses. That was the whole point of these. One of my existing rails died a while back, and whilst looking at solutions, I didnt want to end up with some new seats and no means of fitting them as I don't have the contact to make up universal rails that I had originally a few years back. That's why I was looking for GT seats for so long, as they would (mostly) pop in. There was a set of Evo Recaros popped up for sale over here, but again, no means of installing them. The beauty of Wallace's set, apart from their mint condition, is the fact I don't have to spend further time and money buying rails and finding someone to construct them. I dont have regular contact with my original mechanic any longer unfortunately as he was the chap who did ALOT of my early work, even fitting handbrake covers, as daft as that sounds lol. Cheers Wallace dude, excited isnt the word! been investigating methods of delivery from the brother's house already lol. Phil.
