Cheers JP! Only pics I have are from the seller (WallaceGlanza - super lad to deal with by the way!!!!!). Mark will cast his eye over them for me no doubt once he tucks them up at his place next weekend. I'll see about adding some pics if Mark takes any, or uploading some of Wallace's. Once these are paid for - and I arrange for a new sofa for the house which was the deal with the wife lol - I'll be going back to what I was working on; Jay has a set of old lower arms that I'm going to have refurbed and powder coated. These will get new ball joints and track rod ends, perhaps some new bushes too, and the Whiteline Anti-lift kit I've had sitting for 7 years! I will then turn my attention to some coilovers to resolve the suspension once and for all; needs to be coilies for the 14" Rays as springs and shocks just wont cut it height-wise. Then I need tires for the 14s. And in the middle of that, Jay and I have a couple of oil leaks to find and resolve PERMANENTLY! Once all that is sorted, I shall return my attention to the poor paint condition as the original repair job just doesnt cut the mustard any longer. As Jay says, a man with a plan. A slow plan I will grant you, but a plan nontheless. Be a few seasons yet before I'm parked up beside Beth and Joel at shows, but its heading in the right direction, and these seats will be f**king superb! Phil.

welcome to the mad house! I remember a few years ago, a couple of american chaps came over to my work from our US factory, one of them owns a TRD MR2, treats it like a child. We got talking and he had never heard of a starlet let alone one that could give his MR2 a good run for its money - naturally I felt the need to enlighten him! Good to have you along dude! Phil.

cheers all!! I had been eyeing them up last week, and whilst driving home from work on Friday, I caught myself just sitting thinking about them. One thing led to another, and boom. Mark is kindly collecting them for me, hopefully next weekend all being well, so now all I need to do is find a way to get them from Mark to me. Anyone driving through Ayr with space to carry two seats in the next few months will receive beer or whiskey for their troubles!!! Phil.

A bit curious about the power to weight ratio
Nanglebadger replied to TheAmerican's topic in Lifestyle General
Agree with everything Phil has said above. Another benefit of them is that they are relatively easy to reduce the weight of also, thereby increasing the power to weight ratio without having to spend any monies on the power aspect. My own is stripped out from the driver's seat backwards, excluding handling accessories of course lol. Lots of fun to be had with them, even at modest power set-ups, hence why I am happy with a Blitz K1-powered set-up, plenty of power and super response to have lots of smiles! Phil. -
OFFT! All the way from page 3 of the N/As section! Nothing since June 2014! On the plus side, I have an update that at least makes up for my inactivity. Just put a deposit on a set of Evo 7 Recaros. Will take a few months to get them transported over to NI, but its worth the wait. Kind of interupts the plans I was working on in the back ground in regards to suspension and some powder coating, but I have coveted a set of these since I first saw Joz's seats many years ago, and this weekend I just thought "fuck it". Plus, the wife said they looked nice, so really its all her fault for enabling my bad habits, so its worth delaying the other bits I'm working on for a few months to cover the outlay for these. Phil.

Been running mine as medium since it was installed, but thinking of going to the hard/tight setting when it goes back on the road. Phil. -
Black GT - Templepatrick NI
Nanglebadger replied to Nanglebadger's topic in I Spy, Have You Been Spotted?
nope. Passenger seat in the Mrs' car, pitch black, all I caught sight of was the rear lamps. Arent that many GTs kicking about that area, so it can only be one of select group, so could well be him. Phil. -

welcome! Phil. -
After 6 years of uni, I still didnt know what I wanted to do, so I took a full time job in food retail for a while. Through some acquaintances, I wound up in the pharma industry which so far has been superb and has allowed me to do all the grown up things that old farts like me do, like buy a house, buy a nice daily driver, get married, etc etc. I appreciate that university is not for everyone, that said, although my degrees are not relevant to what I do now nor will they ever be, the very fact that I had them was all that was needed to open the door to this industry, and once in, knowledge and experience can be gained to then move around, but without the degrees, I wouldn't even have been able to apply. So my advice to folk is doing a degree, almost irrespective of what its in, will rarely if ever do more harm than good, and you may find it opens doors that you would never have considered or thought possible. Did I want to work in the development of clinical trial drugs as a little boy? Fuck no I didn't, I wanted to be Rex Hunt the pro-fisherman, or a pro-wrestler like all young boys in the '90s, but its funny how things pan out. Phil.
