  2. Cheers lads! Thats the catch tank mate the hoses to the rocker cover have been removed till I finish the intercooler piping mate.
  3. Well the inlet is all bolted up and on to stay! But first I skimmed the flange just to be sure it was flat! And then checked it with some enginners blue and a glass table it was all good so it got fitted and all piped up, then. Made the throttle cable fit!
  4. Looking good John! More than I can say for mine lol
  5. Cheers lads! I have just taken delivery of a new toy for the workshop too! So I will be practicing a lot! The more goodies can be made!
  6. I didn't want anything living in the turbo while the cars been off the road for the last 6 months lol I like to keep things clean too!
  7. Some more updates! Got the filter re-locater finished and fitted now!! Then I made a hose separator! This was the support car while I was working lol Should be plenty more of updates this week!
  8. lol I know! It can stop on the shelf till it sells tho if some one was to make a decent offer it would go! main problem is theres no pipes with it.
  9. Broken up that small it would easily get down the oil return pipe into the sump, so thats what I would say it was then. There's nothing els in the engine that small it could be really.
  10. That looks like it could be a thrust washer from the turbo, as it seems to be a machined part. I'm Only looking at it on my phone tho
  11. Cheers! I don't know how I have managed without one for so long lol its cost quite a lot to get it all sorted and buying the tooling but its been well worth it all ready.
  12. Yes mate I still have them!
  13. The gear box has a magnet inside the casing from the factory but you have to strip the box to clean it lol so there not really needed, but I suppose another one would not hurt!
  14. Good I hope to see the blue machine out on the road soon!! Well I been busy playing with the milling machine again! Im getting quite into the milling stuff! When we did the tuning last time we were struggling to get a good speed signal to the ecu for the trick functions in the ecu like the boost by gear, traction control, launch control and the rest so we gave it up at the time and decided I needed a proper seed input for the ecu. We decided to use a hall effect sensor for the job but could not decide where to mount it or the magnets for the pick ups, so ive had all the gear for the job sat about for over 2 years now! I did make a bracket to mount the sensor onto the gear box to use the drive shaft but had nothing to mount the sensors to so they were secure and not likely to fly off! So I decided to have a go at making a clamping ring to go onto the drive shaft to fit the magnets into and this is how it turned out, Im over the moon with it to be honest!! It started off as a round blank. This is one of the magnets there only tiny but very strong. Cut it in half so it clamps the the CV joint with 2 screws, you can just make out the joins. I ended up making a new bracket for the sensor too as the original one was too low. The only problem I hit was the CV cup I used to make the clamp fit is different to the cv on the car! I have 3 short drive shafts on the shelf and theres not 2 with the same CV lol so im just going to fit this shaft seen as im still running a N/A short shaft. Next up is the replacement oil filter take off to replace the cracked mocal one. This turned out pretty good too but I still have to finish this yet! This one started off as a square blank Thats it for now more to come when Im on my days off again!
  15. I hope ya get the love back for it this year! And no queing at japfest lol
  16. Cheers Johnny! I've not seen you on here for some time!
